CONFIRMED: Boruto's eye is Jougan

One of the animators of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations posted a picture on his blog that shows Boruto cleaning his right eye. The caption of the picture reads "Jōgan" (浄眼, Literally meaning: Pure Eye) and in the accompanying text, the animator elaborated that Boruto's eye was neither a Byakugan nor a Tenseigan, but officially called "Jōgan". He also explained that the eye is related to the Ōtsutsuki clan's dimension and its powers are a combination of the Byakugan's abilities and Naruto's Negative Emotions Sensing. However, he then noted that all this information would be explained in detail in the future and fans should not think too much of it for now, as the author hadn't thought everything through himself.[4]

How could the eye be all hinata genes when she doesn't even have the eye? common sense would tell anyone that the eye stemmed from the union of Naruto and Hinata tho its funny that Himewri didn't have some version of it.

So it seems this new Jougan eye is superior compared to the normal byakugan, that is good to know. Let see if the jogan got an evolution level like Byakugan to Tenseigan or Sharingan leveling up tomoes.

So far Boruto eye seems to evolve since at first he couldn't see the tenketsu, but later on he could see it. First Boruto needs to learn to active the Jougan at will.

Sensing negative emotion technically comes from Kurama chakra mode, it is not really a base Naruto feat. So it seems Boruto got negative chakra sensing from Kurama.

And it still doesn't change the fact his dojutsu comes from Hyuga DNA, idk where he's been but we've seen Uchiha having more than one dojutsu form so why should it be any different for Hyuga ? A Mangekyo is still a Sharingan even if it has a different name and different powers

Nice fanfic Boruto s composed of a condition of DNA and chakra (in this case kuramas). I think Kurama boned Hinata via the medium of Naruto so it influenced the development of the eyes power. However Boruto I merited Narutos natural chakra reserves and that why they're so low.
This also confirms and adds weight that Naruto may still technically be a virgin
