Bolt having Byakugan lvl 2 in just one eye can't be for no reason. This has to be a major plot point. At first, we thought it was a Byakugan transplant from Hinata or Himawari, but not only was it shown to be a natural power his OWN eye awakened, it also showed that it ONLY awakened in one eye.
And that makes no sense if it's his own power as all other dojutsu users manifest the power in both eyes. Whether unwillingly with the Nue or willingly against Kawaki, Bolt only ever manifests the eye power in just one eye ball, meaning the power is only in his right eye, so what about the left eye?
I think it's safe to say Himawari will manifest Byakugan lvl 2 in her left eye. The reason for why both siblings would only get the power in one eye can be explained if Hinata also has this Byakugan lvl 2 (in both eyes in her case) as a byproduct of having Ootsutsuki Chakra (Ootsutsuki person w/ Hyuga Chakra = Tenseigan, Hyuga person w/ Ootsutsuki Chakra, Byakugan lvl 2), and she passed down only half the power to both kids.
Meaning all three would have Byakugan lvl 2, but Bolt and Himawari would each have it in one eye only.
