That seem like plot convenience tho, i mean even naruto got caught in it despite him being a perfect jinchuuriki. Perfect jin are supposedly immune to genjutsu or at least most genjutsu.Hinata in the Last movie was caught in a genjutsu ... Sakura could free herself but Hinata didn't ...
I'd say it's not resistant .

Well, they can break out of it much easier than your average fodder at least.Perfect jins aren't "immune" tho.

W/e poor choice of words then.Yea. A jin can get broken out of genjutsu thanks to the Biju inside them. But they aren't immune.

Never been stated but apparently genjutsu works by [You must be registered for see links]. All dojutsu gives a different visual ability when activated which i believe can be considered as ESP and definitely isn't granted by normal senses. So yeah they can literally see through a genjutsu but breaking out is something different entirely. Also what do you think about Deidara vs Sasuke. Do you think he broke that genjutsu of Sasuke disintegrating?
It almost seems like he was tricked into thinking he did. I've always wondered what deidara training his eye did for him, narrow his field of vision so he could see the upper half of an opponent without looking into their eyes? Gais method seemed more sound tbh
You're literally throwing a bunch of things together in the hopes that it sounds canon. By your logic, the Nara clan are better at genjutsu than the Uchiha due to their strong affinity for Yin chakra.
The Sharingan seeing through genjutsu is not a genjutsu feat but a hypnosis feat, as seen when Itachi was able to reverse a genjutsu on it's caster.
