plz explain more why....

Look brate. Buddism is all about peace. That's what most religions are about. But Buddism takes it to the new level and I love peace and harmony.

If you think Buddhism takes peace to a new level, oh boy you'd be surprised wth Jainism.

Not the same.

The goals are the same but the methods to getting there are different.

To someone in the those three yes, but to most of the world outside the 3, they are very similar.

can u explain plz??

I can't explain it all but basically in Buddhism your soul is free by enlightening yourself (through meditation) but in Jainism you can't enlighten yourself until you've gone a whole life without harming a single being (through karma/dharma).

Essentially, you are saying Jainism says you can't enlighten yourself while in this life?

This is Ludicrous tbh. :kk:

If you deduce the implication behind his statement properly, then you might understand why I came to that conclusion.

I simply reworded his post, that's all I did.

"... but in Jainism you can't enlighten yourself until you've gone a whole life without harming a single being (through karma/dharma)."

I see what you did there.....

but anyway, it's difficult to explain but essentially if the good you do isn't greater than the suffering you cause, you're stuck in eternal reincarnation and meditation doesn't help (like it would in buddhism). The other difference is that Jains have to be vegetarian (Buddhists don't)

Christianity.

Do Tunisian Christians enjoy total freedom of religion? I'm not bashing, just genuine curiosity

OT: Christianity, I'm Roman Catholic. If I were to choose a Christian denomination I'd never choose anything protestant btw
