C'mon, how am I supposed to remember!?? I mean, I heard it from some source a long time ago! So, it's a wrong opinion? Maybe I am wrong, but are you sure? =D I have heard that's how their fanatics think so, you won't be accepted in their community because you don't have Jewish blood! Well, it's not like I'm a fan of it or something :lol
Ok, let me also try to answer your question! I was born a Muslim, but the only things I follow in this religion are the set of beliefs that is common in other religions or faiths! I don't wear hijab wherever I can (Maybe that's a funny beginning for this, but where I live I must wear it in the public, its a law! I also have to in front of some fanatics & I seriously hate it, meh!), don't even pray or fast (only my dad does so, lol!), and I can't say I believe in God or not, so...I could be called an atheist too =D I try to be a good person & help others as much as possible. That's the best 'religion' in the world! I basically believe that should be the main point about religions as well![]()
you talk about judaisme as if it's a race....and wearing hijab isn't a law....true faith lives in teh heart......
I dunno. Wherever I go, I can see some foreigners or even Saudi females don't wear hijab. It's all about how parents raise their daughters. I'm talking about Jeddah.Wearing hijab is mandatory in my country! I hate to mention it, but Iran is the only country where it is a law. Even in Saudi Arabia, two cities are like that!! :|
I'm sorry? I was just sharing what I had heard before! Are you a Jewish?

Of course, true faith lives in the heart, where else? =D

most of girls who wear hijab whom i know have a ugly hair...they wear Hijab to conceal it..
Well, in Mecca and Medina you have to wear hijab!I'm not from there anyway, so I can't say how it's like =D
Really? I'm not a fan (I even said I hate it!), but I feel you're kinda generalizing it to all the girls, dear friend! And how do you know they have ugly hair when they cover their hair?

Well, these are Mecca and Madina, because they hold two holy Mosques, so it would be awkward and embarrassing for any grown up female to go public exposing her hair. I don't think they would wear hijab out of fear of laws.Well, in Mecca and Medina you have to wear hijab!I'm not from there anyway, so I can't say how it's like =D
becuz i can see a small part from their hair appearing + i know them befor wearing hijab....anyway i'm not against hijab

How you do know them like that? =D They don't wear hijab in front of you? No hard feelings here...I always wonder why some girls really believe in it, I can't see the point when your body language & manners can be way more important if you get what I mean! I still try to respect them...
stop choosing answers that suits your ideology..
What's wrong with that? Aren't we supposed to have a friendly discussion here?
Actually, I can say the same to you too! You didn't say if you're a Jewish or not![]()
I think Iran is the one Islamic country where common people have a more "westernized" relationship with religion.
For example, you yourself said that your being a Muslim is pretty much all a cultural thing, and that if it wasn't for fundamentalists you'd simply leave your hijab at home.
Now this is exactly how young people in my country and in the whole western Europe behave. Of course we don't have something like sharia law, but most people go to church on important festivities just because that's what they're traditionally supposed to do, not because they really have faith and go to church because their hearts tell them so.
Even when you hear people talking about our Christian values or Christian roots, that primarily means that our culture is based on Christianity, not that so many people see religion as a very important part of their lives.
And you're actually not the first one I hear that finds fault with Islamic law in Iran, I've heard several Iranian people, especially women, who disagree with it.
i'm a Tobidarist

Yes, of course =D You'd actually have to meet some Iranian ppl to say how they are like & it seems you have...
Thank you for answering the way you like XD I'm enlightened![]()
If you think Buddhism takes peace to a new level, oh boy you'd be surprised wth Jainism.
Jainism? I'm ignorant of this one. Why do you say this? Is it like polar opposite of Buddhism? :wut:
Christianity. It was the religion I was raised around. Having said that, it doesn't mean it is the only right religion. I respect them all. They are just a different path leading to a common destination.
I just mean Jainism wants you to be even more peaceful than in Buddhism if you can imagine that and I don't think most people realize we're capable of that.
I completely agree with your view.![]()
Can you read?
He said if you had to choose from only those three. :axedance:
