OT: Minato was an exception. Like Sakura, there is no Namikaze clan so his genes aren't really special as far as clan bloodlines go. He was just an exceptional person. I think the predominant genes in Naruto come from Kushina.

I guess so, namikaze might as well just be a family name and not a established shinobi clan. Kushina's uzumaki genes still got diluted, since Naruto was KO'd when Kurama got extracted whereas Kushina was still awake from the same thing, despite giving child birth beforehand!

Villains always spout things, it's always happened in the manga. Plus momoshiki was talking kurama, as it's not something to inherit. Didn't Kishimoto draw Boruto with a chakra cloak? Pretty sure he got that from Naruto.
