To be honest, I have some doubt, maybe Tamatebako box will play a role in that, But I dont think this will be the final for the Big Mom

For me it's 50/50, at the beginning of the arc, I thought BM would be defeated (her empire won't crumble, but she'd be defeated), I thought she'd have an exploitable weakness (like crocodile did), but after the last couple of chapters, I no longer think so. Her defeat is still not out of the picture tho.
Luffy will befriend Big Mom, after seeing her background, she is just broken individual and people have been manipulating her, her entire life. She also has a mental instability to anyone trying to leave her because her parents did, plus she unconsciously ate Mother.

Idk aye. But i hope she does. How much longer do you want one piece to last lol. I love it but it should end sooner than later. There's still alot to get through and that'll take a while so yeah hopefully there is a conclusion in relation to her. Not her getting defeated per say, but a satisfactory conclusion where fans are happy with the way things have played out.

No the key is being stronger, not using Vegapunk to cheat, there will be new yonkos so she and the others will have to loose at some point and so far only kaido has been involved with Vegapunk and the others became yonko soo
