While Saikens gas is faster acting, Amaterasu is persistent...also Son Goku's Lava burns through stuff faster than Amaterasu too.


if pitted against each other, Amaterasu would come out on top.

Just because both jutsys are used by saiken doesn't mean their destructive ability is same. Feats clearly show this.

Liquid burned hachibi hand in second just like amaterasu.True gyuki was screaming more from amaterasu but that is understandable because amaterasu was covering its whole body.
