A weaker version of base naruto in the exam had taken several blows by successful gentle fist and rotations from neji where as the superior base naruto in the valley of end was simply just getting smacked around by taijutsu because if it were enough to beat down on naruto then sasuke wouldn't have been forced to rely on chidori w/ curse mark activated just to finally do the one and only dmg to naruto that was instantly healed up by a casual leak of kurama chakra.

If you had points that would've been valid it would only had been correct if 3rd tomoe sasuke beat down kyuubi naruto with high difficulty instead of low difficulty. if you want to argue SRA neji can contend with vote sasuke, fine whatever. i'm pretty sure sasuke stomps there too but to seriously believe the exam version of neji can keep up with matured stage of sasuke's sharingan? lol the gap is there and transparent.
