Its simple.. if you have any comic books(or Manga/novels etc) laying around, you can do something with it..
You can go as far as you can as it relates to Comics :3

Photography contest is one of those events where many people can participate easily, and more activity is always the aim.
So I'm glad to know it will be coming back.

As for suggestions, nature, food, black&white, fall can be interesting themes.

The amount of themes to choose from are endless. For example Warmth, Winter, Fantastic Nature, Night photography, Cityscapes, Travel, self portrait. I would suggest something creative like "Anime Cosplay self-portrait".
