Why does no one consider Indra/Ashura a power up?

To me its the most powerful power-up any one can have in this series.

In fact because of this power-up I dont even consider Sasuke, Madara, Hashirama or Naruto members of their respected clans. They aren't truly Uchiha, Senju or Uzumaki. They are birth right shinobi granted the most pristine loans of the sage himself.

Disagree all you like but any one born with the power of Indra / Ashura will be Top 5. Its a power capacity boost given at birth and not earned

Being a reincarnate guarantees nothing, it doesn't guarantee a lot of power either. Naruto and Sasuke were lucky enough to be confronted by the sage, and Madara by Black Zetsu, unlike the others. Oh, and not to mention Hashirama and his Wood Style.

I also agree with these. I considered this to be a power up the moment the whole Transmigrate thing was introduced. I too agree with considering them as Otsutsuki as well. I mean they literally descendants and reincarnations of Otsutsuki clan members.

Idk why people say this. When did this Manga ever imply that being an incarnate actually gave you some form of tangible power? Being a reincarnate simply means that you possess Indra/Ashura's chakra along with your own natural chakra. Did Hashirama and Madara get weaker when Ashura and Indra's chakra left them? Nope.

What also makes your OP wrong is that Naruto is an Ashura incarnate yet he would be nowhere near the level he is at now had he not been given Kurama.

They aren't even reincarnations in the actual sense of reincarnation. Their chakra simply passess from one descendant to another.

Why would they be considered Otsutsuki reincarnations? Naruto is not Ashura. Sasuke is not Indra. Transmigration is moving the soul into another body. It does not equal reincarnation.
