The whisker birth marks Naruto, Hima, and Boruto has I believe are from inheriting some of Kurama's chakra. Also, chakra and a person's individual signature is passed down genetically allowing a whole clan to be identified simply by chakra. You can also alter your chakra/signature by simply mixing your DNA with another person creating a new signature.
As far as Hamura's chakra yes it could; it allowed Hinata to potentially damage the tenseigan (energy vessel) which can only be done with pure undiluted Hamura chakra. This, however, was transferred to Naruto so he could destroy it. Also to achieve tenseigan (dojutsu) you need the chakra of Hamura moon and earth descendants to combine and seeing how chakra is partially genetic he would have all he needed for tenseigan to manifest. The only thing different is that you have to add a portion of all the different chakra within Naruto to the mix.
