Sorry if i missed something, but i have just rewatched the itachi-sasuke fight.

I never really realized this but when Orochimaru was sealed within Susanoo's sword, one small snake "escaped".

Shortly later we see how it is caught up in the flames of Ametarasu...

But then at the very end of the episode we see the spot where it was lying before, the flames of Ametarasu are still there, but of the snake the only thing one can make out is a remaining shape in the ground...it didn't look like it got burned  ....Kawarimi no Jutsu?

I don't really know what it means...maybe Kabuto implanted himself whatever escaped there (if)...Or maybe it was just nothing / different in the manga??

And of course there's the probability that Orochimaru will make his comeback :)

pls correct me if I missed something and that was already cleared up xd

Edit: I just looked through the paticular Chapters...and this "final picture" if you will wasn't in there. But I saw in that there were actually 3 snakes escaping and only one was shown to be caught by ametarasu..so what about the remaining two?

no.close this thread oro is dead and forever sealed within the totsuga sword just face it.there's too many of these oro comeback threads already don't make more.the only way oro could comeback is if kabuto is on the verge of dying and out of chakra and even then his soul is sealed it would be a soulless mimic that's all

Awesome observation dude
i saw two snakes tht got burned by amateratsu, one who died on the ground, and one who jumped around and died on a treetop

while the 3rd snake ESCAPED unharmed.

i agree with yur post, but i disagree with the last statement the person above me said (no offense) but wht if itachi sealed the majority of oro's chakra instead of his soul, i mean wht significance does it make to show those snakes after the fight was over, sasuke didnt make them oro must've made them at the last min for his benefit..

wht do yu guys think plz comment :)

I agree with Jinchuuriki... Itachi made so that he will never come back. And Orochimaru was never born a snake so i mean cmon..... Those snakes could have also been from the hydra.
thts plausible, but why would kishi put emphasis on the 3 snakes if it wasnt important, im not throwin any slangs at yu guys, i just dont think they came from the hyrda & i think oro would make an appearance soon

but thts just my opinion..

lol it sounds like ur talking about the obito theories...
lol honestly I think it would be crazy to see oro again he use to be a favorite of mine and I freaked out when I saw the snakes too because I thought it meant a comeback but in my honest opinion kishi did it to work us up about it.just to make you wonder "what if".but at the same time he is the original villian.oro was the reason everything went bad for naruto after he was finding happiness.but the truth is that oro was just a footnote in naruto and sasukes story.he's just an obstacle for them to overcome.I know oro is a genius but just have faith that when itachi says he is gone that means gone for good.I believe itachi knew what he was doing.after all it was his plan remember

I always believed the same and thought the snakes meant something but the thing is oro can't come back.thru kabuto his genetics are reproduced and grafted to himself in one of the labs giving him abilities and characteristics but you must understand that oro will never be alive again.I believe it is a good observation and that the snakes might prove me wrong some day but untill then they are a distraction with no true meaning and may stem a good idea but the branches lead to nowhere without further clues.I would love to see oro again myself but I just don't see it anymore

I really would love to see Oro again...If the snakes really are just a distraction maybe he will someday takeover Kabuto.

All that happened with Orochimaru just doesn't feel quite right...it feels like he is weaker than he should be... Getting so easiliy absorbed by Sasuke was the first thing that bothered me...but as we know eventually this was no problem for Oro...he got out again, only to be sealed by itachi 5 seconds later. I think it should be assumed that he has his methods to avoid such a thing. I thought that when I saw the snakes, that this was his escape-plan. Also he has been looking for Susanoo/Itachi's sword all his life...so isn't it safe to assume that someone like Oro would already know how to counter it?

I believe we haven't seen the last of him...

when itachi pulled out totsuga he wasn't ready.any plan he had failed when he realized the sword he spent his life looking for was the sword to seal him in the end.yet I do agree kishi might have foreshadowed oro's return with the snakes.idk well I do hope to see him again I can say that much.hopefully kabuto can help with that because even tho kabuto is a major player now he is still just side character that will probably just end up being oro's return.I don't believe kabuto was meant to be the major villain he is probably just kishi's way of ensuring oro will make it back atleast for a brief fight and it is obvious he would be just the body that oro needed all along.we would once again see a full powered oro who could definitely stir up some misfortune for our hero naruto
