Nothing much happened in the chapter!. Wonder how do Aster overcomes this hurdle. By a sheer physical strength?.

Ok, that's just being mean and unfair. Aster has 0% magical power and then she drops him into a location where even captains need to protect themselves with a magical 'skin' to not be affected by the hellish environment? You can scream all day long about how strong your resolve and willpower is, but even if Aster somehow would be able to climb that volcano, what difference would it make? It's not like he learned anything?

I assume the point of the writer is to make Aster learn how to control the flow of his anti-magic similar to how it was when he was being controlled by the witch-queen, still she's pretty much bullying Aster right now.

Or he somehow is able to consciously tap into it when the situation demands it. As I said I think that's the writer's intention for this entire situation: to make Aster learn how he can control his anti magic. I'm expecting to have half of the volcano being extinguished when Aster unleashed it.
