I know Aesop's fables, how does Usopp's lies tie in with Elbaf?

usopp that tells tall tales and his dream is elbaf

aesop who supposedly came up with fictional stories, fables

connect the 2

This has been known since 2002.....

Oda is a big fan of the vikings & old fairy tails. Almost all fable references to OP is connected to Usopp(as in he's directly apart of the scene) & toss in Elbaf, which directly ties in with Usopp's dream.

Other than the boy who cried wolf, what other fable is tied to Usopp? (unless you consider Pinocchio's story a fable).

usopp's (who tells tall tales) name is inspired by the name aesop who iscredited to be the originator of aesop's fables, ie a colelction of fables (stories) from ancient greece ... if you can't get how Usopp's name was inspired and how the name of Elbaf is inspired than I can't help u

You as well bro.. you as well.. :coffee:

Not really, I just got tired of OP fans connecting a lot of unnecessary dots,
Didn't know Usopp's name was based on Aesop tho, even at that, I don't get the implication(s) of Elbaf being Fable spelt backwards.

Still don't get the connection between Usopp's name (that came from Aesop) and Elbaf's name, it's not like Aesop's fables are the only fables.
You're insinuating elbaf was named with Usopp in mind, don't get how that's the obvious conclusion from the name Elbaf.
