Description: The Twin Evils are a pair of reverse grip weapons fashioned from ancient crimson and black metals in the shape of a mix between a beast’s fang and claws. The Twin Evils, as they are more commonly known, are appropriately named Tawich, the Left Fang Grinder, and Zarich, the Right Fang Grinder. Tawich and Zarich’s origins remain in obscurity. Likely the pair was forged during a long forgotten era of brutality and savagery – where war and slaughter were the norm and peace was a rarity. Traditionally the pair is used as sword-breakers acting to stop and catch an opponent’s blade in close quarters combat and to swiftly rend flesh in response. Alternatively the Twin Evils can be used as simple throwing weapons akin to daggers whipped at opponents at high speeds to pierce and rend flesh from a distance. Beyond their basic ability to act as freeform weapons both of the twins possess a certain innate ability – camouflage. Both Zarich and Tawrich act to protect themselves from unwanted attention. Because of their crimson and black metal nature the combination of the two acts to blend perfectly with Avenger’s typical clothing and body tattoos. As such, passively, when sheathed against Avenger’s body both will become concealed from sight and appear as a simple continuation of the tattoos and glyphs which litter Avenger. Users with advanced eyesight, such as Doujutsu, are able to easily perceive the minute differences of the blades against the user’s body. Additionally, both blades possess and offer their own unique skills; one to empower the user’s Explosions with hatred and one to preserve them. Given the nature of the Twin Evils, only Avenger, Angra Mainyu, may wield this unique weapon.

Tawrich, the Left Fang Grinder; Tawrich’s ability revolves around the principle of focusing the user’s emotions, more specifically their hatred. It is an inherently passive ability in its nature acting as a second dimension of manipulation to all of the user’s Explosion Release techniques by infusing them with the user’s overwhelming hatred. As such, the user’s Bakuton chakra teems with pure hatred directed toward the world and allows for far more violent and malefic explosions. Tawrich in essence produces explosions which are inherently brutally crimson and far more malevolent in their nature. Their potential to burn and produce concussive damage becomes far greater with this increase. Tawrich’s Hatred Enhancement comes with the ability to increase the power of all of the user’s Explosion Release techniques, up to and including A-Rank, by one rank. S-Rank and above techniques gain the added benefit of being increased by 10 damage.

Zarich, the Right Fang Grinder; Zarich’s ability revolves around the principle of chain reactions and explosions. Zarich enables the user to manipulate existing and ongoing explosions by infusing their Bakuton chakra within them. The infused chakra acts to initiate much smaller explosions within the body of the initial triggering a sequence of reactions and producing a positive feedback mechanism within the initial explosion, allowing for multiple small explosions to occur. The smaller explosions produced aim to replace the expended energy of the main initial explosion. This in essence allows techniques which it is applied to require being overpowered entirely to be destroyed allowing for a sort of pseudo explosive regenerative process. Because the smaller explosions simply replace the expended energy Zarich’s ability does not enhance the power, size, or shape of the explosion at all. It simply acts to maintain the explosion in its produced state of power requiring that it be overpowered entirely to be destroyed, allowing it to last until the infusion is voided. Zarich’s ability passively siphons the user’s chakra at the rate of 15 chakra per turn in order to sustain the chain reaction. Zarich’s abilities can only be applied to a single explosion, requiring one of the user's three moves, on the battlefield at a time and requires the user reuse this ability to apply it to a different explosion. It can be used a maximum of three times per battle and cannot be used in consecutive turns.[/b]

Description: One of the ten Akatsuki Rings worn on the left thumb. This Ring is made out of an Indestructible violet stone. The Jewel Ring increases the power and range of Fuuinjutsu techniques by one rank, with the exception of S ranked and above and reduces recoil damage by half on forbidden-ranked and Kinjutsu techniques, resulting in less exhaustion (while not reducing physical damage, like wounds and death), allowing for rank restrictions to be lifted by 1 rank (If the user is restricted to C ranks, it becomes B ranks). This ring produces a hidden frequency received by other rings providing a hidden form of communication among ring bearers.
Five times per battle, it can increase the chakra cost of enemy's Fuuinjutsu techniques by 15 chakra for a whole turn, to be stated before the turn and cause all jutsu above B rank used to use 20 more damage. However, when this turn ends, the user will suffer from his own jutsu using 20 more chakra without any damage change.

Yet despite its name the turquoise flames would emit no heat; they would elegantly spawn behind Reborn and then rush forward to engulf his entity.

Description: This technique encompasses the flame-like, wispy, energy base of Mystic Fire Release and allows the user to concentrate chakra in an area, whether it is from their body, through the ground, or even in the air. In the case of the flames being produced from the air they are unable to be created within short-range of the opponent, unless the user is within short-range as well. Flames produced from the ground possess an audible queue giving slight warning to the target should they emerge from beneath them. These flames can be manipulated to a high degree allowing the user to produce a wide variety of constructs and shapes, generally limited by their own imagination. Alternatively Primordial Creation can also be used to create simple streams, fireballs, blasts, and waves of flame. These flames can be, at the user’s volition, concentrated to effectively solidify allowing them to punch through physical obstacles and cause explosive damage. The flames of Mystic Fire by default adhere to the violet spectrum but can be manipulated to fit any color in the visible light spectrum. Alternatively they can seal their light entirely causing them to appear akin to the black flames of Amaterasu. Applications above A-Rank require a single hand seal. Sustaining this technique requires the user expend ten chakra per turn. S-Rank can be used four times per battle and cannot be used in consecutive turns.

Reborn pondered for a moment the circumstances that led to him being in his current predicament. In spite of the achievements he had made, Reborn had long since renounced his mantel as a fighter and professed himself as more of a scholar in the shinobi arts. Nevertheless, he found himself in the presence of, what appeared to be, a hardened fighter and member of the Akatsuki. The name and reputation of his adversary escaped him, which presented a problem.

*Kami-sama, I know I've heard of this guy before...He hangs out with that worthless, lazy, S.O.B...shit, I'll just ask him.* Reborn thought to himself.

Reborn saw the movement of his adversary and felt the collection of chakra formulating behind him. He could sense that the fire nature within the chakra that accumulated behind him was different. The technique was clearly not an ordinary fire technique and Reborn knew better than to assume the construct of an element without further information. Reborn was frustrated, frustrated at his inability to develop a more effective strategy to deal with his unknown opponent than what he had conceived of.

"I can't believe how lazy my mind has become. I'll get myself killed at this rate." Reborn said as he gathered his own chakra throughout the field. Upon the turquoise flames of Avenger's Mystic Fire appearing, Reborn gathered his chakra into two distinct locations around the field; short range distance surrounding himself and surrounding his opponent.

The chakra that surrounded Reborn consisted of water release, causing a massive amount of water to spiral around Reborn, expanding outward in a rather serpent like motion. The expanded water opened like a dragon's mouth toward the flames racing toward it. The maw of the water dragon sapped the energy of the flames before making contact, reducing its size and potency before being completely extinguished. The steaming water dragon remained strong after devouring the flames and rose up a few meters in the air, with its body still coiled two meters or so in radius around Reborn. The dragon peered at Avenger who was dealing with his own problem at the moment. [S-rank @80dmg]

The chakra that surrounded Avenger consisted of the unique golden flames of Decay. Unlike the water dragon around Reborn, the large, spiraling, flames coiled inward on Avenger; decaying everything within and heading toward him. A segment of the chakra would form into a dragon's head just like the water dragon and try to engulf Avenger, decaying him alive. [S-rank @100dmg]

Description: A more powerful version of “Yin Release Hungry Ghost Technique.” Rather than the user arbitrarily adding their Yin Release chakra to a specific technique, the user will create a number of large, elemental dragons using any of the basic elements plus their Yin Release chakra. The user can create up to 5 serpentine dragons which, once created, can act independently according to the user’s will. Due to the user being able to manipulate multiple elements at once, each dragon created can be of a different nature. Each dragon will also have the absorption properties of “Hungry Ghost,” thus becoming even more dangerous. However, due to the massive amount of chakra and control needed to use these dragons, the user can only control two dragons at any given time. While the dragons are present, the user cannot use any Yang Release or elemental techniques that currently exist within the dragons. Yin Release masters can combine two natures together in order to make a multi-elemental dragon or even a dragon consisting of an advanced element or CE that they know. However, in doing so they will only be able to create two dragons.
Note: Can only be used 2 times per battle.

Reborn's simultaneous creation of the two elemental dragons was followed by the dragon hand seal which placed a genjutsu onto Avenger. In spite of the obviously obfuscated visibility between both parties at the point of Reborn's first technique, Reborn could still sense Avenger's chakra clearly. The illusion Reborn cast worked in tandem with the ninjutsu he had cast in the moment prior. The illusion created the image of another dragon, similar in nature to the ones created by Reborn, descending from above with a gaping mouth. Pending the success of the genjutsu, Avenger would see the dragon of decay chakra coiling inward attempting to enclose on him while the second dragon, rising from outside of the first, would attempt to descend upon him before being closed off.

While it can create any animal, it is more frequently used to summon animal specimens of one's summoning contract. Blood can be added to further reinstate the realism of the illusion.

Reborn scratched his head wondering whether or not he should continue to piss away his chakra on an unknown opponent. He'd find his answer pending Avenger's response.



If we're not counting my use of NPCs, AJ, or Anubis, this is my first move since I think the one move I did with Noni back I abandoned Kiri officially. What's the timeframe on that, a year ago?

Go easy on me, I'm out of practice...

It all happened very quickly; one moment Avenger possesses a clear line of sight with his foe and the next it is obstructed by a menacing golden dragon. Unbeknownst to him his own Mystic Flames had been rendered impotent by the water dragon. With limited options Avenger responded to the remarkably beautiful, but dangerous, golden flames. Instantly Avenger activated an innate technique which infused additional chakra into his Earth and Earth based techniques; the infusion resulted in empowered earthen techniques. Quickly Avenger channeled Mawscape chakra throughout his body; from it black spikes blitzed forward in an omnidirectional 'burst' forth and struck at the golden dragon. The spikes would be empowered by an additional layer of rubble created by the activated infusion technique. The golden dragon would be dispersed harmlessly by the Mawscape, leaving both neutralized in the clash.

With his line of sight momentarily restored Avenger looked onward at Reborn and took careful note of the Water dragon. It appeared his opponent possessed a rare skill: to mold differing elemental natures simultaneously. It was certainly a rare feat and spoke to the magnitude of the battle before him. Avenger's eyes narrowed as a third dragon appeared above him; yet strangely it cast no shadow.

(Gōkeiton: Iteza Hirogari) – Mawscape Release: Sagittarius’s Expanse

Description: This technique allows the user to produce Mawscape from either their body or a source of Earth. Sagittarius’s Expanse is capable of producing a plethora of objects, tools, and constructs essentially limited by the rank of the technique applied and the user’s own imagination. As constructs of Mawscape they possess the ability to absorb all light, effectively causing them to become a void of absolute darkness. As such the constructs will appear as two dimensional, even to Doujutsu wielders, making them incredibly deceptive and impossible to perceive their depth and dimensions. When utilized in a source of natural light the constructs of Mawscape will be hot to the touch due to their high level of emissivity; this creates a potent dual form of damage causing burns to those who come into contact with it. This effect is amplified when coming into contact with higher forms of light. A-Rank applications can be used with a single hand seal. S-Rank applications can be used four times per battle with two hand seals. Description: This is the brother technique to Earth Release: Rubble Creation. Unlike its counterpart, this technique is more passive in nature. This user activates an ability which allows them to infuse additional Earth chakra into their own Earth-based techniques(includes Earth-based KG/CEs). As a result, any subsequent Earth technique performed by the user would emerge with an additional layer of rubble around it. The earthen particles coating the technique would be jagged and abrasive in nature. Hence, this grants the original Earth technique an extra dimension, in terms of its offensive potential, as it allows the original Earth technique to deal additional damage. In other words, all Earth techniques used while this is active grant a sort of ‘shredding’ property, which in turn, allows it to deal more damage than it originally would. For example, for techniques such as Destructive Rock Rising Pillars, the pillars that rise would be coated with the aforementioned particles, thus becoming somewhat abrasive(coupled along with its original blunt destructive power). The added mass also aids in its destructive potential. For techniques such as the Hardening technique, the rocks would be coated with more rubble, which would make it more ‘abrasive’ to the touch, and allow it to deal more damage(when used offensively). It would also serve as an additional defensive mechanism, and would grant the technique the ability to defend against techniques with 20 more damage points than usual. The rubble used for this technique must either originate from the terrain itself, or extruded from the user’s body itself. This means that for the most part, this technique only works on projectile-type techniques, and terrain manipulation techniques. This technique may not be used to enhance mud techniques. Activating this ability does not require any time whatsoever and is instant. This is because it does not do anything when used independently, and its effects are only realized when another earth-based technique is used.

Realizing the deception Avenger acted to shatter the illusion. Molding additional Mawscape chakra throughout his entire body he released a Crane roughly twice Avenger's size. Due to the Armor of the Armadillo the Crane was empowered significantly, much like the Mawscape spikes created earlier. The Crane deviated in a number of ways from normal crane; it possessed, beneath its wings, a set of arms with normal hands proportional to its size used for hand seals. It also was entirely black, reflecting the nature of Mawscape. As it absorbed visible light from the surroundings the crane's body appeared as an entirely black void, much like a cosmic black hole. The crane's emergence shattered the illusion effortlessly; once fully created it rushed forward at Reborn and his water dragon. After crossing the gap between combatants it would lunge forward and attempt to body slam the Hayabusa and his dragon. It would eliminate the slightly weakened dragon while crushing and burning Reborn beneath it.

Description: This technique is considered the sibling technique of Sagittarius’s Expanse and allows the user to create familiars composed entirely of Mawscape. The familiars created, like the constructs through Expanse, are limited simply by the chakra input and the user’s imagination; this allows for a wide range of familiars in both size and shape limited to a maximum height of twenty meters. Familiars created exhibit the characteristics of their chosen form; for example a dragon is fully capable of flight, while a humanoid is capable of running. Familiars possess sentience above that of the Stone Golem, allowing the familiar to operate independent of the user’s concentration passively siphoning chakra from the creator. These familiars possess a set of basic abilities. As creations composed of Mawscape observers will be unable to perceive depth or dimensionality, making the familiars appear entirely void-like. Additionally, familiars created possess, as previously mentioned, a higher form of sentience, allowing them to utilize Mawscape Release techniques up to and including their created rank. Techniques which require hand seals can be replicated through hands created on the familiar’s form. Created familiars, regardless of application used, can remain on the field for four turns. S-Rank applications can be used twice per battle and requires a two turn cooldown after use. The user can only utilize one application of Voidwalker at a time. Multiple familiars can be created following normal splitting rules. No S-Rank or above Mawscape on the turn the familiar expires when the S-Rank version is used.
