I really like the design of this character. She totally looks like someone who would look at her enemies with this half bored gaze saying ''ちぇ!雑魚!'' As soon as I saw your drawings I had that picture in my head. Total badass. This is my version of her btw.

Good job on the drawings!

Undyne?

You are pretty good yourself. What program do you use for drawing? PS? Do you use something for your lines or is it just your hand?
oooh, from undertale, she's a glorious fishwoman warrior!

Thank you ;-; Yeah I use Photoshop, and I just use my trusty Wacom Tablet, Brush tool and a lot of lines. I used to sketch on paper, Ink it, scan it and then edit it so I can colour the scans. But I don't have a scanner so I had to abandon that, so begun practising just completely using the tablet on it's own.

Ah, that's right...

Your lines are very steady. I totally thought that you used Pen Tool or something similar. That's pretty awesome. I struggle a lot with this. Well, if you feel more confident with drawing on paper maybe you could just do tracing when you transfer to PS. I sometimes do this but tbh not too often. It's kind of a bother.

Well, this thread so went off topic. I am sorry.

xD It's cool. What I usually do is draw a draft on a different layer and make it a different colour (Like a dull cyan) then trace over that on a new layer in black doing each line as a stroke like I did when I inked on paper (Guess it was good practice using a Brush Pen)

your lines are great too tho, my gawd. I like it, sometimes i think mine are too thick - but i like it. I also struggle with my lines and keepin em neat.

Yeah, I think most artists do things like that. Well, I suppose, pros are skipping the draft layer. I like using shapes... you know, e.g. head: circle + triangle, so that's how I always start drawing.

Haha, thanks, but I need a lot of practice. I am studying anatomy a lot these days. Learning about the main muscles and bones in human body helps a lot with lines.
What's important is that you practice a lot. Practice will show you where to go from thick lines (if you really like them or not) and it will help you develop your own style. Sure, there will be a lot of struggling but yeah, you are on a right path. xD
