Question about Rasengan.

If Naruto was falling from the sky at full speed trying to hit, Say, Rock Lee and missed and hit the floor, What would happen to the rasengan?
Would it explode?
Would it drill through the ground?
Would it disappear?
Any help appreciated for I'm doing an animation and correct facts would be good for it

Thanks. Wasn't sure because in the Anime, Naruto usually either gets a direct hit or just misses. Rarely hits anything else. Thanks.

It really depends on the power of the rasengan, zigi and gatsndshanks are both correct. However if the power(energy) doesn't last it will disappear.

If Naruto is falling high up from the Sky - then it would be very hard to Control the Rasen Shuriken because of the Wind pressure while falling down!!

and i think for rasengan it is very hard to Balance the chakra while falling at such speed!, because one of the three main things required to do rasengan - is Chakra Balance!!

But i think that if it did hit the Ground - it would make a Giant Explosion!! - And Create a hole like a small Meteor Crater kinda!! LOL

It will depend on the size of the Rasengan, it would be something like when Neji finishes his Kaiten, it'll cave in a cercular impression on the ground

Yah if Naruto's rasengan hit it would make a crater and if it dissipated his fist from the speed of falling would make a crater.
