ROFL: How long do you think it'll be before we see Kawaki do anything?

Looking at the brief Boruto v Kawaki fight in the manga and anime, you notice that Boruto is older than he is presently (age 12), and looks to be a teenager (like Naruto was during Part 2). How long do you think Ikemoto and SP will milk out Boruto's academy, Genin and pre-teen days, before they actually introduce Kawaki to the series?

At the pace Ikemoto moves, that's grossly unrealistic. Lmao

And SP has chosen to follow Ikemoto's storyline for Kawaki, so it'll be even longer. Filler in and filler out till the day comes.

The series has been over for years and I quit watching the anime faithfully long before that. You forget a thing or two.

They didn't even animate Ch 700 yet which means the academy arc would take even longer

id say maybe sometime from june to september, its not like they'll give us a lot about him though, the kawaki vs boruto fight will probably happen near the end of the year or even longer, because there will be fillers to drag it out and tons of flashbacks, this is going to be a long ride

Being teased on promo images and manga cover =/= To actually doing something and playing a role as a character in a story.

Kawaki is the only original thing Ikemoto has contributed to the Boruto story. I imagine he's going to milk it out for all it's worth, rather than blow his load for one arc. Given how Boruto looks to be a lot older/taller in the flashfoward, Kawaki wrecking Konoha is a long way off. Gotta keep the fans interested somehow though.

the manga ran for a Decade, if not longer.
Same goes for the anime.

Like i said. there was never a "short path" when it came to naruto.
