ROFL: How long do you think it'll be before we see Kawaki do anything?

I suspect, probably not for a long time.

Give or take, 6 months.

6 months? That's too optimistic. This is a monthly manga so 6 months is a mere 6 chapters and considering how we're currently in an arc that doesn't have anything to do with big eye powers, otsutsuki tatoos and how Kawaki hasn't even been introduced yet and everyone is still kids (Boruto and Kawaki obviously knew each other before that scene) I'd say we won't see it for atleast a year or two.

We had stuff like this teased way back in Shippuden with Sasuke reveal and it took us 2 arcs to actually get there. Considering how the manga only started presenting new material, I'd say the Kawaki fans will have to wait quite a bit.

Being teased on promo images and manga cover =/= To actually doing something and playing a role as a character in a story.

Kawaki is the only original thing Ikemoto has contributed to the Boruto story. I imagine he's going to milk it out for all it's worth, rather than blow his load for one arc. Given how Boruto looks to be a lot older/taller in the flashfoward, Kawaki wrecking Konoha is a long way off. Gotta keep the fans interested somehow though.

I disagree. I don't think they would've put him there if they planned on introducing him so much later. Hell, the fact that we've seen Kawaki and know his name wouldn't make sense if this wasn't someone they would put out soon.
