Sakura and Kakashi to be irrelevant?

Are Kakashi and Sakura going to be Irrelevant in Boruto manga? Well Kakashi may be but Sakura is Sarada's mother she should have relevancy in the plot or at least a decent amount of Screen time .

Will the once important characters in Naruto Manga become fodder/side character/irrelevant ?!?

Eventually, yes. It's the new generation so they aren't going to be too focused on "relics of the past," though Naruto and Sasuke will keep relevancy. Even as a main character Sakura will probably get the same treatment as Hinata.

I'm sure they'll make appearances but the continuance of the manga really doesn't revolve around them as main characters, that's ok though. Sarada is an extension of Sakura and everything she should've been as a character.

I think only Bolt's parents, Sasuke, and Orochimaru will probably be relevant. Kishimoto already wished Sakura never existed anyways, so I doubt he'll want her being the focus here either, especially with her no longer being the heroine. Kakashi has nothing to offer at all anymore in any regard.

The Star of the series is Boruto and Sakura is not Boruto's Mother that job belongs to Hinata. This is a continuation of the Uzumaki Saga not the Uchiha. So yes Sakura is irrelevant as was Her Mother and Father in the old series.

He said he regrets making her the main heroine and wishes he didn't do so. He also said he had to "persevere" with her throughout the series.
