Right because in our world when someone attacks you with Magical fire you immediately think to clap your hands together and douse it out with your magical spit water


In the VS column people do add intelligence into the mix epsecially when there are INTEL parameters at play.
Also the truth is people (Like myself) prefer going off pure feats instead of speculation even if one feat is relative to whatever the situation is. If a character has no intelligence feats then its not even worth throwing intelligence into the mix as most people (Especially bias ones) will just create or make up their own assumptions of how intelligent their favorite character is.

Then you shouldn't have made this thread in the first place if that's common sense. Sure intelligence is different from person to person but what you do with it is what matters. For example Shikamaru is considered to have very high IQ but do you think he can win against Sasuke? Or lets say Sakura scored the highest marks at the academy while Shikamaru was at the lower end of the academy rankings yet where Shikamaru is regarded as a tactical genius, most people find Sakura to be useless.

Op: intelligence only really matter in a situation where both have no intel on each other. Like a race to figure out who can outwit and pinpoint flaws the first. Sasuke v deidara is a perfect example. Two geniuses playing chess but the bigger genius winning in the end with no intel at all. :lol

I agree with your analogy but Deidara wasn't a genius.. He was prepared to battle a genius uchiha(Itachi)

No, he's only more talented in ninjutsu skill but that's pretty much it. His genjutsu will never be as strong as an Uchiha and neihter will any of the 1000 copy techs he mastered.

I may have gon too far and admit he's stronger than the average Uchiha, BUT he will never be as strong as an elite Uchiha because he's not a natural Sharingan user
