War Arc Neji surpassed MS Sasuke's level

Ok, before the name calling begins I'm not talking about the scale of Neji's destructive feats but rather his ability/potential to face a Mangekyo user.



In the war arc, Neji and Hiashi were able to repel the Juubi's tail without the help of Kurama cloak

It seems like nothing until you realize the Juubi has the power of 9 bijuu therefore its tail should be more powerful than that of the bijuu and hence more powerful than a PS blade.

If that's the case then that means Neji had the power to at the very least repel a v3 Susanoo with his Juken, and this was before he reached his prime.


Combine that with the fact his Byakugan gives him better insight than Sharingan and you could easily see Neji being a handful for MS Sasuke or SM Naruto.

Neji deserved Hinata's spot as a character and Humura's successor, he's 10x better then Hinata in every way you can think of. He'd probably would still stomp her as well....

However, nothing suggest that Susanoo arrow would break through rotation. And rotation can bounce the flames of amaterasu back. And in worst scenarios. Neji can still save himself from ametarasu with One blow body, and we are speaking of MS Sasuke , meaning he won't be able to spam ametarasu without harming himself

nejis rotation got rekted by narutos base rasengan with a little kurama chakra mixed in, the same technique but larger size shouldnt exponentially increase its power thus if you think susanoo arrows which negged danzo and naruto had to block with tsb couldnt penetrate some measly chakra that is simply spun around someone you are delusional

First what Naruto broke through was not a full Rotation. Rotation has two stages as explained by TenTen

the first stage where the user is emitting chakra from his body to tank the attacks.
and the second stage where the user is spinning to blast all the attacks back .

And you can see here that Naruto was so fast that he attacked Neji before he manages to complete his Jutsu, meaning that he broke through the first stage of Rotation

A full Rotation would simply redirect the momentum of a Susanoo arrow and bounce it back . Rotation is defense where there is spinning, it is not a chakra wall. Besides WA Neji's Rotation is on bar with Hiashi's Rotation, which is this big

That is even bigger than v2 Susanoo , so he should have no problem with susanoo arrow.

And BTW , saying that a big Rotation is like a small rotation. Is just like saying that a giant Rasengan is like a small Rasengan , which makes no sense at all

As much as I share many people's concern regarding Neji's wasted potential in the manga, I believe that should he have faced either MS Sasuke or SM Naruto in his canon prime, he'd get completely and utterly trashed.
