its probably more so the bounty, the explanation of his power as future seeing and being the top commander. He should be close to marco or on his level so his hype is justified. But the way ppl go about it might be a bit extra lol

yea they would, cracker initially had an unorthodox design but was still over hyped. any top 3 commander especially the best commander is likely going to get this treatment and his design was just the icing on the cake.

Do we know that he's stronger than Cracker? Do we know that Cracker is stronger than Doflamingo?

These are a lot of assumptions to make based on seeing a cool looking person for two panels

Cracker's design was a little outlandish, but it wasn't lame by any means. It was actually very fitting given the setting of WCI. Throw in the fact that he was overpowered G4, his placing on the power scaling is undeniable. Weevil had his strength by a damn admiral and people think he ain't that strong because of his design alone.

This "hype" factor in itself is shallow.

I really don't understand why people hate on Doflamingo every time we get a new strong character from Big Moms crew. It happened with Cracker and now Katakuri. I get the hype factor but if your being logical you have to see the truth somewhat.

For one Cracker was beaten by Luffy with the help of Nami and the Homies. It took Luffy, Law, and the the help of tons of people to finally defeat Doflamingo. So in comparison I think anyone could see that Doflamingo had a tougher challenge in his fight. So Cracker and Doflamingo if anything are close to the same level if not Doflamingo being slightly higher because of the more impressive fight.

And now we finally get to see the last Commander of the Big Mom Pirates and yes he looks and sounds beast. The Hype is real everybody lol. He is said to have trained his OH so much that he can see slightly into the future. OMMMGGGG!!!!

I love his design and yes I think he has will be stronger that Doflamingo but give it time we haven't even seen the guy in battle yet. Im not saying he will be weak because he is no doubt a monster. But to say he can Solo Doflamingo and his crew is a bit much if you ask me.

This reminds me of another problem that ties into what we said: people only care about the results and not the circumstances. If Katakuri gets defeated by circumstances, it'll depend on who beat him to say whether he gets underrated or given the benefit of a doubt by simple minded people. Luffy, law & Doffy are perfect examples.

In PH, Law was overrated to sh!t. People claimed that he'd at best med diff Luffy. After Dressrosa, now people go as far as to say Law loses to Base Zoro because Law was beaten by Doffy while injured. For Mingo, people claim he is weak or G4 is a beast because he got one shotted by Luffy. Obviously they ignored what happened during the fight & have selective memory.

If Katakuri is beaten by Luffy due to circumstances, it means Luffy was stronger. If its because of Chopper, people would say Katakuri was DF reliant trash or something.

I get what your saying but the only reason Capone is worried or "scared" about him is because of his level of observation haki and what that could mean for His and Luffys plan going forward. If he sees the betrayal seconds before it happens game over you know.

Couldnt have said it better myself Vandenre1ch. People don't understand circumstance what so ever when it comes to comparing Characters level. Not only that but whoever helps Luffy in a fight will end up getting what I like to call the Vegeta treatment. Oda will lessen say Law to make Luffys victory grander like Goku and Vegeta.

Ofcourse, doesn't stop him from receiving that portrayal. Also he's the only sweet commander so far who isn't a minister, he's definitely special, that's why Oda saved him for last.

Can't compare the situation because once G4 came out doffy was opened up with no resistance. Cracker fought G4 Luffy for 12 hours meaning nothing in his G4 could past thought crackers defense meaning Mingo has no way to get past it as well.

Cracker beats doffy.
