I'd be interested to see if Kakuzu would be able to dodge or if he'd have to tank in character

Yeah that's what I was more thinking of him doing too. I feel like domu would tank. If his insides could be super heated through domu skin would the friction of Choji's meat bullet have super heated his insides too? I think his body was smoking afterwards but we didn't really see any signs of internal damage.

That and he doesn't really have much in the way of "insides" lol the hearts are cushioned by millions of threads. If his hearts are already out of his body the fuuton would blow the lava off quickly anyways.

It probabli would, but even if it wouldn't, Domu still doesn't save him, since Youton also has chakra-destroying properties.

No it doesn't lol Susano'o tanked it, not to mention chakra is under the hardened skin not on top. If the lava can't melt something why would heat be able to travel through? Skin is a great.....(opposite of insulator) nvm chakra enhanced skin.

Youton partially melted Susano'o. Probably would've completely destroyed it had it not been removed too early.

Ribcage was tanking lol and I'd say Domu is about on par with rib-cage Susano'o.

What leads you to believe Domu provides Heat resistance Zex?

Also, even if all of his hearts except one is released his gastrointestinal system, nervous system, etc. are still burned beyond repair if he decides to just tank.

There is no reason to really believe that Doton Domu protects against heat or acid right?

Are you asking me why I believe it tanks the lava's melting properties? Or the heat you're saying would overheat the organs?

The first should be obvious lol, second human skin already does that quite well please go and try and find me a case where someone succumbed to "overheating of organs" before they were burned alive from flame lol not to mention Domu hardens that skin, Domu is "Diamond" like lol and I don't think I need to tell you how heat resistant a diamond is. Honestly don't see why people tried to deny Domu giving Kakuzu diamond properties as they're not as strong physically as people tend to believe lol but nonetheless domu being a bad conductor of heat should be pretty obvious. Its also chakra based so the chakra alone should be halting the invasion as well, that is like saying a Susano'o user could be overheated.

Also Kakuzu has no/compltely abnormal nervous system and doesn't require the other organs which should be obvious based on his structure/actions/physical properties.


It doesn't protect against a low pH obviously but it should be obvious why he'd never have to use it against the mist.

How is it conjecture when he splits open his back lol if he had a normal organ they would have fallen out every time, not to mention by logic he needs space to keep those hearts somewhere it wouldn't be possible if he had all the organs of a normal human.
