Personally I kind of despise Big Mom's character. She's very thick and childish, she has mood swings like no one else and for me, when you're a the top of the world over thousands of pirates, you must be sharp, smart and sensible.

Take Shanks and BB, they're opposite of each other but I like both of their characters. They both do a good job at being the good and the bad guy

But then you have this goofy mf singing "Weeedding,Wedding" and crying about broken toys.She isn't funny or interesting, I personally don't think there is much depth to watching an overpowered fat 9 year old child.

What a dumb reasoning. Everything has a face thanks to Big Mom's Devil Fruit. That is kind of the thing in this arc. Outside this arc that didn't happen once. Also the amount of times a homie was involved in a decision or changed a storyline or contributed in any way hasn't been more than 4 times if I'm counting generous.

Also you're setting yourself up for the world's most predictable 1 2 with yourself because you know full well that there is a flying carpet homie part of the following of one of the big characters that is about to make her move. You're just bringing this up pre-preemptive so that you can be some cynical douche in a couple of weeks.

Devil fruits have been part of the story since chapter 1, and so have been the effects of devil fruits. But for some reason after 859 chapters it somehow became a dumb concept to you. It's literally 20 years of content and 1 Devil Fruit ability is ruining One piece for you. damn.

There's something contradictory here with your description of a Yonkou. Being sharp, smart and sensible are good qualities when you're striving for a political or business career and are largely dependent on other people, but these are pirates. Their situation is completely the opposite as they simply do whatever the hell they want. They don't need to be smart, sensible or sharp because as long as they're powerful there are no limits on what they can do. That's why people started calling them emperors as they conquered vast territories where their word is absolute and they accomplished that by virtue of their shear power. And if they die there's a high probability everything they stood for vanishes immediately, WB is a good example of this. Everything is centered around a single person and that person's power, not their smarts or sensibility as that is not going to get you far in a pirate society.

In that regard BM might even be one of the more progressive ones as her marriage policy has shown to be quite efficient in real life. The resemblance with the House of Habsburg is uncanny and they pretty much became the rulers of Europe not by sword, but by marriage. In theory her 'empire' would have more chance of survival even without her due to all the blood connections she made if it weren't for the terror she installed in her own children rather than loyalty.

BM might be reckless and a loose cannon sometimes, but seriously she is certainly not thick and the majority of the Yonkou so far have shown a childish/goofy side. Why? Because they can and it's no different in the real world.

Honestly I don't really have a problem with any of Yonko or their personality's thus far in the series. But that doesn't mean that I don't like some more than others either. All 4 of them have different character traits that bring about totally different arcs and environments for the Strawhats. That is very important to me as a reader because I want adventure and diversity in the series. I would hate it if they were all were the same and not interesting.

I totally understand if the whole Alice in Wonderland type character and environment with BM and Whole Cake isn't or might not be your thing. But there are a lot of people that are enjoying the fact that its different. Just like Kaido seems to be an emotional, rambling, and a suicidal drunk that can go from crying to rage in a second. There will be people that wont like that either but yeah its interesting lol.

You have to think that in Shanks and BB we are basically just getting the exact opposites of each other which is some what simple. Both were underlings of 2 great pirates that dominates the sea in their time. Both are strong and now Yonkos of the sea like their captains were. The only difference is one is evil and one seems to be good. And I always thought it to funny and interesting that Shanks seems to be taking the WB approach and just live while BB want to PK like Roger.

The point I was making is that for me so much power and her constant childish behaviourso don't match well.Garp can be childish but I don't have a problem with him because it's built into him well with a counter balance of when he gets serious. Big Mom is constantly annoying and it boggles me to see so much power yet so much ignorance in such an important character. Just imagine if you found out a president like Putin has childish temper and he slept with a toy and cried about little things. It would probably make you lose respect for his power.

Even with OP logic, I don't see how she got to her position with just power. A story needs to make sense for me and I just can't believe that she got this much power with her irrational decisions and bad temper. YONKO, that's a lot of power. Power over pirates with hundreds of millions of B and probably even a few worth a Billion (like Jack). If you look at history and real life, stupid irrational people didn't really gain ruling powers UNLESS they were born into it, in which case their reign often ended quickly.

Dragon makes sense,Admirals make sense,Shanks makes sense,Gorosei make sense but Big Mom and MAYBE Kaido? No, that doesn't make sense to me.

I initially thought BM and Kaido are idiots who care about one thing, in kaidos case dying or going out with a bang or w/e and BM was all about candy. But they do have ambitions so they must be somewhat intelligent but Oda doesn't show it whatsoever yet. You're right to build a crew like that you need wits on some level.
