The point I was making is that for me so much power and her constant childish behaviourso don't match well.Garp can be childish but I don't have a problem with him because it's built into him well with a counter balance of when he gets serious. Big Mom is constantly annoying and it boggles me to see so much power yet so much ignorance in such an important character. Just imagine if you found out a president like Putin has childish temper and he slept with a toy and cried about little things. It would probably make you lose respect for his power.

Even with OP logic, I don't see how she got to her position with just power. A story needs to make sense for me and I just can't believe that she got this much power with her irrational decisions and bad temper. YONKO, that's a lot of power. Power over pirates with hundreds of millions of B and probably even a few worth a Billion (like Jack). If you look at history and real life, stupid irrational people didn't really gain ruling powers UNLESS they were born into it, in which case their reign often ended quickly.

Dragon makes sense,Admirals make sense,Shanks makes sense,Gorosei make sense but Big Mom and MAYBE Kaido? No, that doesn't make sense to me.
And that was exactly the point I was making here. You are having an utopian ideal of what a Yonkou should be and because BM doesn't fit that ideal, you don't like her, but your ideal doesn't conform with the reality. The Yonkou are pirates or with other words criminals who don't follow laws or rules other than their own. They murder and steal whatever they want whenever they want and they don't listen to anyone other than themselves.

You are trying to make the Yonkou appear like some misunderstood anti-heroes, but they are essentially twisted figures. You say that Garp has a serious side that balances things out, but do you think that BM is not serious? As she is bloody serious. You might think that all of these tea parties and whatever are childish, but to her it's the norm. She transformed her fantasies into a factual, dreadful reality and everyone has to conform with that reality or they die. That's what makes her a Yonkou and you don't seem to understand that. What you describe would be suitable for an admiral, but not a Yonkou.

And frankly we have a world leader that pretty much fits the description you gave, namely Donald Trump. Putting that aside real life examples are by default misplaced here as even Trump and Putin are dependent on other people. That's not the case for BM as she can do whatever she want and try to laugh at her for doing so. Power, shear power taken the form of a single existence. That's what Yonkou are and looking at real life is plainly wrong as there has never been a person who resembled a Yonkou. Frankly the entities that are most closely related to them in real life, are gods, demons and titans which don't have to be smart, sensible or sharp as they will be revered and adored both out of fear and awe of their power.

The truth is here that it's Shanks that's the odd one out, not Kaidou or BM and the admirals and the Gorosei are two completely different entities. Your problem is that you don't seem to apprehend what a Yonkou actually is. They are different from real life, different from the admirals and different from the Gorosei.

Yeah you're right there is something off about Shanks, he is too care free for a yonkou. He doesn't seem like the type to control territory and have a whole following of underworld people and commanders. Yet he seems to have a lot of leverage to help him survive in the New World. He can stop Kaidou without a fight, who doesn't appear to be a very reasonable man. He can stop a war by showing up, both on the navy side as on Blackbeards side.

He must have some kind of Ace up his sleeve. Or he is just the biggest monster on the sea.

Also I dislike Donald Trump's character design. The hair hair no mi is cool but it would've been more badass if he was ripped and was a swordsman. That would make him look more like a yonkou to me.

One Piece characters are all weird comical wash bs now.

I'm really hating it.

Everything has a face, everything talks, everything gets involved...wouldn't be surprised if Luffy goes on an adventure because of a talking carpet is going to get used or stepped on..40+ chapters on that shet -_-"
What an idiotic post. Why are you talking about a motif that's only been present in the current arc as if it's a motif for the entire story?

Not to mention that One Piece has always been this ridiculous with its world.

If we're salty for saying your post was wrong, I wonder what that makes you, the person crying and whining over the manga. Is this how you make people "rekt," more crying and whining?
riker never, ever feed trolls, work on just laughing with them (which is basically the same as laughing at them, we all saw them in south park :D)
