Another one of these threads. How to keep NB alive 101

It's a cool quote and all, but the able and not willing really doesn't define him as malevolent. Is one evil for giving free will to others? Is he to blame for their actions. Being wronged by evil isn't even an end result for Christians (heaven). So, calling him malevolent for that is nonsense.

At least we see few valid posts around...

Its completely unfair how someone who is to and raised by a Buddhist family and lived to be one of the nicest, helpful & pacifistic people that puts the most devout Christains to shame....can still go to hell & suffer for all eternity just because he isn't a Christian. I mean the dude was born to a Buddhsit family, raised by Buddhist and lived his entire life around fellow Buddhist. How is he able to became a Christian under those circumstances that apparently god knew about the entire time?

Again, incredibly unfair.....

Being a Buddhist doesn't automatically make one a saint, pal. It's so funny that you're trying to paint them like pure beings when they too have crimes, recent ones at that. But I guess living in a country that doesn't have much Buddhists would make an idea like this form. Unless we're talking the Itachi-kind of pacifism here, they are far from that.

If a person really wants the truth, God will give it to them. It's as simple as that. He can show anyone the right path, as long as they want to and search for the answer.

Quote from internet:
Man: God, tell me, what is a million years to you?" God: "Son...a million years is like a second to me". Then the Man asks: "Ok then tell me God, what is a million dollars to you?" God: My son...a million dollars to me is like a penny". Man: "So god....can I have a million dollars?" To which God replied: "In a second".

That's the assumption we're going by. If he was really sorry, what would be the outcome of that personal enlightenment?

> Would God tell him off or,

> Harness a kind of love for his evil creation that only applies to him and forgive him, perhaps in a way he gets to atone for his sins but is banned from ever showing up in front of humans or seeing certain things?

> Perhaps be allowed to live but reborn as a human with no knowledge whatsoever instead

Maybe he can't be sorry, cus if he could then he wouldn't be Satan.

Actually there are some awful individuals among Buddhist too. Have you ever heard of a Buddhist monk and preacher named Wirathu? He's a pretty dangerous dude who in Myanmar is nicknamed "the Buddhist Bin Laden". Far from saying that he behaves like that because of his Buddhist faith, but to say that Buddhists are so peaceful they put others to shame is just preposterous. I would just say that no culture or worldview can save us from our own human nature by itself.

Satan is the one that started all the sin in the world knowing that God hated sin.

Basically, he blasphemed God

Which is unforgiven

Here are some Bible verses that suggest that God would possibly be bound by his word to forgive whomever, even Lucifer, were a change of heart were to happen. There are, of course, requirements to being forgiven. For instance: forgiving others, confessing or acknowledging your sins, asking for His salvation etc.

> Ephesians 1:7: In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

> Hebrews 10:17: Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”

> Daniel 9:9: The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him.

> Colossian 1:13-14: For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

> Psalm 103:12: as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

> Numbers 14:19-21: In accordance with your great love, forgive the sin of these people, just as you have pardoned them from the time they left Egypt until now.” 20 The LORD replied, “I have forgiven them, as you asked. 21 Nevertheless, as surely as I live and as surely as the glory of the LORD fills the whole earth.

Wouldn't you say his morality would guide his decision since he is in fact a moral God?

That is, assuming Lucifer came to some character change.

uuum yes i dont take it everything in the books as 100% fact but the truth is in between the lines

Skepticism is almost impossible to not build up when Christians repeatedly declare that the author is actually God himself.

I think so but he won't too proud. Its interesting that we christians often are so eager to forgive our friends and family but no one wanted to forgive the angel who when he needed help the most the world and god failed him. He lost his way

DOES he? Because what's so good about a vastly empty universe? If God has no one to witness his might, what good is it? If God doesn't need us, why does he crave our worship so badly?

God created us by a snap of his finger so i am willing to bet he could easily create more if he really wanted us gone

God didn't fail him if it was his wish to oppose him.

Congrats, you also missed the point completely. God needs sentient life to exist IN GENERAL.

"Wants" would be more fitting.

need /niːd/
verb
1. require (something) because it is essential or very important rather than just desirable.
2. expressing necessity or obligation.
3. be necessary.
noun
1. circumstances in which something is necessary; necessity.
2. a thing that is wanted or required.
3. the state of requiring help, or of lacking basic necessities such as food.

Considering God flips his shit when he doesn't get worship, "needs" is an accurate word.
