if you paused in 0:42 , you can see , that Neji have said Byakugan , and if you look at the spikes , you can see , as if the time have just froze

there was nothing like that in the manga , but that's not my point , my point is , were the SP kinda hinting that the Byakugan would have a special ability other than being a telescope ?

I wouldn't say its a time freeze ability but more so that its connected to the Pure realm and higher spiritual ascendance. The Otsuki's are Gods which are being portrayed as having a higher status of being after death , like Hagoromo and Hamura. The frozen area was likely due to Boruto seeing into a separate overlapping dimension which came into being after Momo was killed by him which could very well be a similar dimension to where Hagoromo bestowed power to Naruto/Sasuke as a Ghost. This could also be connected to the Mind realm where Sasuke and Naruto go when they clash , getting time to read each others full thoughts while in real time , time is put at a somewat stand-still in contrast to this other dimension.

-Sasuke with his Rinnegan likely picked up on some kind of visual cue the instant Momo arrived but due to the fact that time relates different within the spirit world he wasn't able to perceive anything as he simply didn't have time to , but felt that something was up. Hinata in the Last was able to see the History of the Otsuki through Hamura which could've been shown to her through his Byakugan similar to Momo having the ability to see the Fates of others in an instant via his own Byakugan. Would be a nice plot development if Hinata's Byakugan Princess Prophesy were to take place in Boruto with her gaining a unique ability.

Byakugan doesn't have time freezing , if it did Momo would've wrecked. But i could see Boruto gaining the ability to read Minds. Byakugan having the ability to read through thoughts and see into the future were always abilities i felt would've been a fitting evolution to its base abilities and im glad to see that this is happening.

It's beacause of Boruto's words and Sasuke's reaction. Boruto specifically was wondering why no one was moving and made the comparison of time stopping before Momo appeared to him.

Sasuke had his Rinnegan showing while still remaining in the same stance and position during Boruto and Momoshiki's entire exchange.

Momo also had Byakugan activated and made note of Boruto having the blood of Hyuga. Piece it together from there and let the time stopping theories fly

I think that ability should be for Inojin and the Yamanaka clan , because ya' know , mind transfer , mind destruction , why not being also to read minds ?

but their problem is dealing with the long ranged specialist , so they need an ability to make themselves fast to engage

Interesting find....but we all know Kishi doesn't think that far ahead.....also, I think that was just an effect to show the activation of the byakugan....I think they see in black and white or something.
