WTF ,so he resisted an attack that is capable of slicing the moon in a half but he was stabbed by normal blade ?!!!

okay but still , Toneri's jutsu was able to slice a WHOLE MOON, yet it couldn't slice Naruto or even damaging him and he was in KCM , but a normal katana was able to past through his BSM cloak :|

I get your point about "he wasn't ready to tank" , but doesn't that mean that literally any fodder Ninja is able to damage Naruto if he take him by surprise ?

Inconsistency. Or like the guy above said it might be becuz he wasn't on his guard was mostly concerned with the kids proctection. The Last he was in battle mode and was ready that's the way I see it. That being said I agree he was most likely stronger in the Last compared to Gaiden since he has no feats and was awful. There's no way a guy who took Chidori in the face unscathed then tanked that moon cutter would be easily pierced by that and especially since Kusanagi couldn't pierce 4th tails and a higher form with durability gets pierced like that smh.

Just a nitpick but that seemed to be rikudou KCSM, not kcm. Anyways, that seems to be an inconsistency. Since a much weaker form of naruto managed to tank a kusanagi stab from orochimaru.

And so ? Doesn't change the fact Naruto's chakra quality is LEVELS above what Toneri has, JJ Obito had the chakra reserves to perform similar level of feats and yet he couldn't land a fatal hit on Naruto.

Furthermore, the moon was already hollow due to losing the CT core Hagoromo made so cutting it was not much of a problem. And don't confuse cutting the moon with cutting a planet, far from the same thing.

And regarding Obito not being able to do the same thing, there's this weapon called Nunoboku sword. So yes he can perform the same feats especially since having the Juubi's power and Hashi cells is pretty much superior to just having Hamura's chakra.

2. Fake or not he lacks skill and tact to use it.


Nunoboku sword's length isn't long enough to cut through the moon, much less the earth. Keep in mind what the sword is made out of and it's maximum range.

The tenseigan is capable of dislodging the fucking moon out of orbit and slice through it. And that's with a false user.
