The Last Era is basically the 3rd time skip. Then a 4th to Boruto's teenage era then a 5th to his later teen years era

Anyway. I doubt it, I know Oda has characters say things that don't come true but I find it odd that he'd have his MC say he won't lose again after returning from training with Rayleigh after losing Ace and then make him need more training. I'm taking Oda literal on that one and I don't expect Luffy will lose another match up until the end(even if he'll need help doing it as we've seen)

That was the first one.... The backstory with sabo and ace was a flashback so it can't be considered a time skip. So where is the second one

Between Edward and Ace's death until Luffy appear on newspapers with 3D/2Y tattoo, it's probably a week, but can Oda count that a time-skip? I would say no.

Also, let's count how many hours, days or weeks the StrawHats took sailing from island to another since Syrup Village Arc. Oda says the StrawHats do training during voyage, so let's count them time-skips, right? WOW! One Piece surpassed probably any novel not just manga.

Ok In the Boruto manga there may be a small time skip between now and when he fights Kawaki but I hope they dont' time skip more than that.

Yeah, before it's too late. I mean if Ichigo found out that Naruto's son has his own manga/anime, Ichigo will go to the studios and ask them to make a manga/anime about his son, Kuzoi before Ichigo goes bankai on the studios.

There's only been one skip in OP so far. The 2 year break after MF.

I was thinking the same way as you guys at first.. but then I realized that the actual story itself starts with Luffy as a kid.. that's how the story begins.. then it does a timeskip to Luffy leaving his hometown and starting his adventure.. (first time skip)

Then after Marineford it's the second time skip..


Atleast, this is my guess on the OP's logic of saying "3rd" time skip..
