[Discussion] Raikage lost an arm. Why isn't he freaking out?!

When the Raikage lost an arm to Sasuke's Amaterasu, why wasn't he freaking out?!?

If I lost an arm - regardless of whether or not if I were a ninja - I would certainly be a bit freaked.

The fact that Raikage is primarily a Taijutsu user only increases the reason why he shoulud be freaked out at losing an arm; that arm is a good portion of his fighting arsenal, and he just tossed it away like it was nothing. And Kirabi didn't really seem to even NOTICE that he'd lost an arm when he arrived to help "finish off" Kisame.

We've seen that Kakuzu is able to re-attach body parts, and I think we've seen that Zetsu is able to do basically the same thing.

So, does the Raikage have some way of replacing his lost arm? Is there a Med Nin in the Hidden Cloud who can do that? ...Without, you know, stealing an arm from a corpse?

he wasnt thinking stright back when he did that not to mention if he wants to freak out he wouldnt do it in public cuz he's a kage.

P.S bee did notice cuz after the chopped off kisame's head raikage punched bee and bee said even though ur ....handed u still pack up a punch.

If that was the case, it would be pretty funny if he got some White dude's arm.

Just like kakashi can form a dog out of his lightning jutsu raikiri(sp) I think Raikage will form a hand out of his lightning cloak when needed. I would look freakin sweet too!
Seems feasible to me at least.

That's a good point, the real problem is his hand was burned with amaterasu which doesn't stop until it completely burns it's target. So the hand is taosted.

In today's medical terms some of the cut limbs/hands/body parts can be re-attached within certain timeframe, I think for hands it's 6 hours that is if you can find the full limb/hand that was cut. So in narutoverse m sure they can do it too.

The only option for Raikage is regeneration and I don't know if that's possible or how advanced medical ninjutsu is. Getting someone else's hand with matching size is almost impossible considering how big Raikage is. May be they will attach a hook or something to make it into a weapon for him to use during battles.

I think he acted calm BECAUSE he's a taijutsu ninja. He doesn't need to form seals like ninjutsu ninjas. 1 hand would handicap him a little but not that much. He could still use that arm to hit things with. Yeah he can't grab with it because he has no hand but its not like it was lost from the shoulder down its only the wrist down

well when his hand got cut off, it was still burning, so i'm pretty sure its not gonna be reattached.. but the hook idea sounds great LOL

also, he doesn't seem to feel the need to use hand seals.. or else losing a hand would have meant something to him..
