Will this new Boruto anime series be canon
if it follows the manga or if kishi says its cannon then yes, i jiust hope it isnt done by sp because they suck monkey ****
That's a good question actually, one of them has to be canon, or both with some ridiculous alternate timeline/reality bs, at which point I would just quit
At this point you might as well decide for yourself what is canon.
It was actually confirmed to be not canon. When an anime decides to stray away from canon to create an original story, especially when the authors of both Anime/Manga consider the Manga form to be the sequel of Naruto, you lost.Yes it's canon because kishi said he's planning to make it better than Naruto . I mean isn't it obvious the moment he revealed this qoute?
The way I understand it:
The main Naruto manga, Gaiden and Boruto manga are canon.
The Novels are canon.
Nothing in the anime has ever been canon unless it is a reflection of what is in the manga or novels. The Last, and Boruto: Naruto the Movie are the exceptions and therefore canon.
(The Boruto manga has made some parts of the movie non canon, I guess.)
I think the most difficult part about Naruto is keeping track of all his modes.
Most likely, it will follow what we are currently seeing in the manga. That is to say the movie recap plus the new content soon to follow. They might also delve into Mitsuki's side story and Naruto Gaiden, I'd imagine. With the manga's current pacing however, we are bound to see some filler eventually.
Will this be a adaptation of the first boruto manga
