when it comes to the elements that you want. clay and sand i could give you some good combinations.

since clay is another form of earth then that is the way we would treat it

Earth:


When you use an earth jutsu it's always good to follow up with a wind or water or fire for the following reasons:

- Wind, as the opponent will try to use lightning to block the earth or in your case Disable your clay bombs, and wind is strong to lightning

- Water as this will make the opponent shock themselves if they use lightning

- Fire turn the earth for additional damage, because when you use earth, they wont use water as water is weak to earth

the plan is to think two moves ahead so you could in a way control the battle.

for example:

so you are trying to use sand also so we are going to use the same formula when it comes to anticipating the opponent's next move. Here are some combinations you could use if you are using Sand

-Lightning because the opponent will most likely use water since that is what sand is weak to
-Earth because it is strong to water.
-fire since sand is strong to it

example 1: you use mini clay spiders to follow your opponent. the opponent uses lightning knowing that lightning will disable the clay. you use waterpillar thrust to shoot the opponent in the air as he is using his lightning. therefore the opponent has shocked himself and is vulnerable for a follow up attack.

example 2: you send flying clay bombs to attack the opponent, the opponent performs thunder dragon tornado to have electricity circling around them protecting them from your flying clay bombs, and you perform pressure damage to overpower the lightning technique since lightning is weak to wind
