Ryoku sits and is surprised of the way his sensei appears. Stunned by the power of his own clan. Is this the kind of power he will have? Watching Luffy pick his nose, he prepares his response...OOC: Shout out, lightning teach.
Luffy materializes from the moisture in the air, directly in front of his student. Raising his index finger, he begins to pick his nose with a smile plastered on his face. "Hey, the name's Luffy and I am going to be King of the Pirates your teacher! As you can see by my entrance, we are big into the whole manipulation of our body and moisture. Please tell me everything that you know about are clan, as well as our strengths and weaknesses." Casually flicking the bugger towards a nearby tree, proceeded to sit with his legs crossed as he waited for his student.
Luffy smiles in response to his student's reply. "Mangetsu you say?.." With a clap of his hands, a large poof of smoke appears between Luffy and Ryoku. As the smoke settles, Mangetsu is seen standing between the two, with Samehada strapped to his back. "Is this the Mangetsu you are speaking of? Shishishishi" said Luffy. With a look of annoyance at being reversed summoned, Mangetsu bites his lib in frustration and takes a sip from his water bottle. "I'll take it over from here, Rubber Boy. So, the name's Mangetsu if you didn't already guess. I will be continuing the rest of your training, unless that goofy kid over there decides to interrupt us. *Sigh*. Our clan's ability is quite interesting, but I still see it as an advanced version of the Water Substitution technique. Unlike the substitution technique though, we aren't limited to a certain elemental affinity whilst hydrified. A unique trait granted by our Hydrifications are that we can still access our other elemental affinities within reason, mainly because the state is special. (Confirmed with LoK that other elements can be used whilst Hydrified, within reason of course.) Needless to say, the scope of what can, or can't be done will be within reason. If you have the ability to release an armor of flames that heats up the surrounding area, including around your skin, you'd begin to evaporate on the surface. But in most cases, its the manipulation of your own chakra to take on the properties of said element, so you should be okay, most often than not. We will begin the session by having you enter the Water Substitution Technique's state. "Ryoku sits and is surprised of the way his sensei appears. Stunned by the power of his own clan. Our clan, the Hozuki clan specializes in water release ninjutsu. We hail from he lands of Kirigakure and most of our attacks stem from the use of a technique called Hydrification. It allows our bodies to liquefy, turning into a somewhat stable body of water, in order to avoid physical attacks within reason such as weaponry or taijutsu. Though were able to avoid that type of damage it makes us very vulerable to lightning release, and lightning baed attacks as water will conduct lightning. Known users are Suigetsu, Mangetsu and Gengetsu Hozuki.

Mangetsu suddenly blitzes towards his student as he firmly grabs a hold of Samehada with his right hand, unstrapping it from his back as he closes the distance. Upon entering short range, Mangetsu swings it downwards in a diagonal manner, going from right to left, attempting to shred through his student's torso, beginning from the left shoulder and ending by the opposite waist area. In his liquified state, Samehada easily tears through without dealing any damage to him. "Good, seems like you were able to activate it with much ease. After you recompose yourself, I'll have you deactivate your technique as we begin practicing in the next stage. I want you to follow a similar method but this time do a partial transformation, liquifying the portion I will be striking. But remember that you'll be limited to liquifying a single aspect of your body, and not multiple ones for this exercise, so be cautious."
Using his Quincy glove with the summoning inscriptions, Mangetsu swaps out Samehada for his Nubari blade, the Sewing Needle. Holding the bundle of wire with his left hand and the long thinly edged sword with his opposite hand. Mangetsu suddenly swings his left arm widely, releasing some of the bundled wire to have to wrap around and behind the student. With a forceful pull, the wire would attempt to push on the student's back, bringing him towards himself. In that same motion, Mangetsu would point his Nuibari blade directly angled to pierce through the student's left lung. The close distance and narrow point of the blade made it difficult to accurately pin-point where the blade would pierce into. In unison after pulling back on the wire to bring his student closer to him, Mangetsu would extend said arm forward with a closed fist at an attempt to punch them directly in the face. In an attempt to avoid obstacles that may block his path, he would hydrify his entire arm, including his fist to phase through any defense.
OOC: That's precisely right.
Your reflexes seem to be on point, you were able to liquify the most important portion of your body whilst also dealing with my regular strike. After having turned your entire body into water, and no a portion of it, I think you're ready to move into the more advanced applications of the hydrification process. I want you to practice meditating with your body and continuously liquifying and solidifying portions of your body, down to the smallest of details like hair fibers. After honing your skills with the hydrificaiton process I want you to point out some notable strengths and weaknesses about the overall technique and style that is tied to it.
( Suiton: Suika no Jutsu ) – Water Release: Hydrification technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20 ( -5 per turn )
Damage points: N/A
Description: The Hydrification teachnique is a protean, whole-body technique whereby the user can liquefy their body at will, making it impossible to receive damage from physical attacks. From a single hair to the skin and muscles, everything can be liquefied and solidified at will. Capable of manipulating their body in different shapes, the user is able to use their body as a source of water jutsu created up to Mid range from the user. Using this, the user can also re-shape their body parts for suitable situations. The only way to contain a user of this technique is to lock them up in an airtight container so they cannot move about. When the user passes out, they turn into a jelly-like state. The Second Mizukage, when using this technique, has a more oily state, allowing it to enter Sand and nullify it.
Note: Can only be used by members of the Hozuki Clan
Well done, now its time to finally move onto the offensive techniques that are tied to our clan's secret water state.
( Suiton: Akuma no Kikan) - Water Release: Return of the Devil
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user first uses Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique on the opponent, damaging them and leaving them in the air. He then strikes them down, crashing the opponent onto the ground with his sword.
Note: Can only be used by Hozuki clan members
Just like the rest of the techniques you'll be learning, Return of the Devil utilizes your watery state as a source. This is a rather interesting technique, as you'll be shape manipulating your body into a form you are already familiar with. To start, you'll shape manipulate your body into the form of a dragon, the same one in the "Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique" itself. You will then proceed to launch yourself towards the nearest target within range, striking them in a way that would launch into the air. You will then solidify your body as your unsheathe your sword (Will require a sword) and strike them down, launching them back down to the floor. A very dangerous technique as you are turning yourself into water to strike your target, leaving you quite open to being attacked by lightning techniques. This is very situational but it could have potential if used correctly. The more dangerous your sword's passive abilities are, the more deadly this technique becomes. Please perform the technique and note any key usages you have in mind besides the traditional use. I won't ask you to mention the weaknesses because those have been mentioned and are obvious. I am however interested in hearing your potential strengths for this particular technique, out of the box usages.
