Whats the point of Indra and Asura reincarnating?

What was the point of Indra and Asura reincarnating through time? I get that it was Kishi showing how hatred breeds hatred and is a pointless cycle. But that's my point, it was pointless. Even if Indra defeated Asura he would just come back again in a different body, Indra would literally have to kill every human on the planet and then what? he'd be left on his own, not to mention that might not even work when their are beings on other planets/dimensions that Asura could probably reincarnate into.

What was Indra's plan anyway? it seemed like he didn't give a shit about others and so when his father was naming his successor why would he even care if he wasn't chosen. I get that he was annoyed that his weaker brother was chosen, but was Indra such a weak character that he basically threw a tantrum? He could have just left and taught Ninshu anyway. Also if you are such a genius like Indra was supposed to be you wouldn't tell your dad that 'might is right' when you know he's a bleeding heart type of character. He could have at least lied and then when chosen turn "evil" and then it would have been more interesting for Asura to defeat him (even if it would be cliche).

Indra reincarnations are needed so they can balance the fodder energy on the planet with their solo energy, of course Itachi was born and him and Sasuke existing at the same time caused an overload of solo power and the world couldn't handle it, Itachi realized this so he took out the entire clan so he can reduce the amount of solo energy NV contained, but it didn't work so Itachi knew that one of them has to die as their powers kept on increasing and NV's balance is going down the drain as fodder energy is starting to fade away and fodders around the world starated getting sick and dying.

But right now, these crisis are over as Itachi sacrificed himself so fodders can live peacefully, angered at first but then respecting his brothers wishes, Sasuke now lives in a world of fodders balancing NV on his own, as the last
