guys we saw this two clashed in the Gold Movie which was a disappointment because we didn't get to see the fight. who do you think will come out on top when this 2 characters clash.

There's nothing that shows it but there are a couple things that suggest it could be. First there's the fact that he's had a trainer since the age of around 10 and not just one good one but a whole network of them. Then there's the standard of the ASL trio which had Ace>Sabo>Luffy and of course that will change eventually with Luffy being the protag and Ace being dead but we have no way to show it's been completely broken yet. I'd have to see more from Sabo but it's not impossible.

I wasn't serious, but that said it's not impossible it could still have been a hint of Lucci's current strength because Oda was involved in the movie and was the one who wrote the Tesoro story especially when you see the way he portrayed the Cp0 comparatively to Revos in the manga with Sabo trying to avoid Lucci in dressrosa, as well as even Dragon being aware of their potential(mentioned the "new" members as dangerous).

Lucci was slightly stronger than Luffy preskip and he known to have great potential. Not as much as Luffy though, but if current Lucci is at least still in the same ballpark as Luffy, there is nothing wrong in him being able to stalemate Sabo for the duration time of their battle

No way in hell Lucci is as strong or hell even stronger than a guy who spent the entire timeskip training and was being mentored by the PKs right hand man.

Lucci wasn't stronger than a pre skip G2 Luffy who didn't even have mastery over the form but somehow someway a guy who previously got his ass whooped by Luffy is going to somehow be stronger than Luffy after the TS? Hell no.

Luffys about to take down Yonkos and shit but yet somehow Lucci, a guy Luffy defeated pre skip is going to keep up with all that? Hell no.

Lucci is featless anyway, hell I haven't even seen enough from Sabo to suggest he's stronger than Luffy let alone Lucci.

Its fanboyism nothing more. I recently looked back at Sabo's feats and saw nothing suggesting he's molly whopping guys like Doflamingo or G4 Luffy and I freaking love Sabo.

The Revo argument is garbage because the revos are nowhere near ready to take down the marines yet just like Luffy ain't ready to be PK yet. Luffy doesn't have to even be weaker than Sabo, what purpose would that serve anyway? Ace is dead and Luffy isn't a little kid anymore.

So im glad we agree on this.

I don't usually like to take Doflamingo's side in debates in this section with the level of wank he gets, but Sabo is never mid-high diffing him. Sabo has no feats or portrayal suggesting that. Doflamingo himself never perceived Sabo as a threat in dressrosa. The only threat he noticed was Fujitora, a character portrayed a level above Sabo. They are both in the same ballpark, albeit yes with Sabo stronger(thanks to the mera)

It's not like i said that i would ignore his feats or portrayal or something in debate. Only thing i said is that i don't like supporting him. But i still take into account all his feats and portrayal in debates without bias when it comes to it just like now i said he is in the same ballpark with Sabo. It's based on his feats and portrayal, but i didn't like supporting him

Doffy not viewing Sabo as a threat doesn't really hold much weight, this was the same guy who through Pica could clear house on Dressrosa. Though I don't rate Sabo THAT much higher than Doffy, if Doffy can push Sabo to the lower end of high-dif they should be near the same ballpark.
