It seems to me that you're the one who needs to read the manga. Did sasuke absorb a Rasengan? Or did he absorb kurama's chakra. Again chakra is not ninjutsu.

Kishi said in a weird manner. THroughout the series characters mention "that jutsu" when talking about the Kyuubi's power. Before Naruto left to rescue Gaara Jman warned Naruto not to use "that jutsu" which referred to the Kyuubi's power (hence Naruto's sad face shown quickly after). Jman also said that the frog with the key for Naruto's seal was a sign Minato wanted Naruto to complete "that jutsu" which also refers to the Kyuubi's power. When Gaara started transforming Temari referred to it as "that jutsu" for whats it worth.

That simply means "Red Chakra" or "Nine Tails Chakra" is used interchangeably with "That Jutsu". Both connote the same meaning. I provided you with two illustrations to show that Kishimoto believed that it should be classified as a jutsu even after >100 chapters have passed since the start of Shippuden.
