The Akimichi abilities are all about converting calories into chakra. With that chakra they are able to use their secret jutsus. The abilities are pretty versatile and can be combined with a few handy jutsus. There is always an Akimichi jutsu that can be used in a certain situation. The Akimichi jutsus are all about engaging into close combat fighting as sometimes you roll towards your opponent, sometimes you increase the length of your arm to hit him, you increase the size of your whole body to step on him, you squeeze him between your giant hands etc... Of course this can be very dangerous as the opponent could counter that with a defensive jutsu that would heavily harm you, but as I said you can combine them with elemental jutsus to protect yourself and deal more damage simultaneously.

Basically, their ability is to expand a body part or increase the size of their whole body. This ability is fueled by chakra which is converted from calories. Whenever you use this ability offensively, you're going into close range of an enemy, be it your whole body or only your fist/leg/foot/etc.

Very good start.

You eat alot... then calories = chakra = you get i believe 300 more chakra points on your bio (will check this later)

Expanding yourself increases your strength and area of attack too. So if you're 50 ft tall and do a leaf dragon god attack, well you get the idea.

I like how you said you'd incorporate elements into it. As we know, one chidori and bam... stunned. Good thing to do for stuff like that though, have a lightning affinity so you don't get stunned so easily xd

What are the drawbacks of your size control? What are the limits?

And what other way do akimichi use calories to increase their power?

I was wondering about being paralyzed; if you want to punch an enemy with an enlarged hand and he uses chidori -or any variant of it- he would of course paralyze your hand, but he'd still end up being hit right? Because paralyzing ones hand doesn't mean that it would stop the movement all of a sudden, especially when it's a huge hand with huge power behind it.

Drawbacks & other uses of calories

I don't believe using the regular Akimichi techniques has any drawbacks. You can freely use them as much as you want. You could say that using the Human Bullet Tank technique too much might make you dizzy, but I think that is going a bit far.
Another drawback, which isn't directly related to using the techniques, is the fact that when you use these jutsus you become a huge target or your enlarged body part becomes a large target. As you mentioned this could mean that you end up being paralyzed and render your clan's ability useless in future moves.

The biggest drawbacks come when you use the S-ranked clan jutsu (Calorie control) or use the three pills. Both have similar effects, but the pills' drawbacks have a bigger impact.

The three pills: While you gain nice boosts from them; ach pill has its own specific drawbacks. The first pill disables you from using jutsus above S-rank (I guess S-rank included?) for four turns. Using the second pill makes it impossible for you to perform jutsus above A-rank for five turns and you end up being severely injured and your ability to move is limited. Consuming the third and last pill will result in you being unable to use jutsus, be it Nin / Gen or the Akimichi abilities, above B-rank for the rest of the fight.
The user of these pills also experiences huge weight loss, rendering your body very weak + the injuries you got due to using the second and third pill.

Calorie control: This technique grants you the same boosts (with an increase here and there) as the third pill. In addition to that, it grows two large chakra wings from your back (chakra converted from calories of course). The drawbacks from this jutsu are almost the same as the pills. You can't use Nin/Gen nor Akimichi techniques above B-rank for the rest of the fight. In contrast to the drawbacks from the pills; you don't lose as much weight nor do you receive (as much) damage.​

Yes they would still be hit due to the momentum but that comes down to the type of lighting. If it's unfocused like chidori nagashi, then it will just numb your arm but still hit them, if it's a blast like chidori remei or what ever it's called it with hit your arm away, it depdndanon the jutsu used.

S rank and above = can't use S ranks or f ranks
Up to s ranks = doesn't include S ranks

Like most Akimichi techniques the following jutsus require you to use your chakra to enlarge either a body part or you whole body.

( Bubun Baika No Jutsu ) - Partial Multi-size Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15 ( -5 per turn )
Damage Points: N/A (+ 15 damage to taijutsu attacks)
Description: A practical application of the Multi-Size Technique which lets one expand their own body. The point of swelling a single part of the body is to use the weight to increase the power of one's physical attacks. Any body part may be augmented this way, but for ease of use, the arms and legs tend to be chosen quite frequently. The speed of the expansion is exceedingly sudden, which makes it extremely difficult to avoid. Like the majority of the Akimichi clan's techniques, this one requires a considerable amount of chakra. This jutsu lasts for 2 turns.
NOTE:Must be a member of the Akimichi Clan
The first jutsu is the most basic application of the Akimichi's ability. It allows you to expand a single body part, it is possible to expand whichever part you want although some may not prove that useful. A first positive of this jutsu is the expansion itself. It is a sudden transformation, which is relatively fast, that allows you to surprise an opponent. The surprise factor is really useful in close combat because your opponent, obviously, has less time to react to your technique.
Another useful aspect of this jutsu is that it allows you to somewhat "freestyle" your way out of opponent's attacks. Using this jutsu, you can expand both of your legs at a fast rate and jump up. Once you're going up, you can reduce your legs back to their normal size and you will have jumped over an incoming jutsu. This is similar to how Luffy's ability works in One Piece.
Assuming that I enlarged my arm and fist and threw a punch at an opponent, the latter would need to use a relatively strong jutsu to push my fist back or even block it. Since the expansion increases the weight of my fist a lot it would mean that for example a basic wind jutsu that would usually suffice, will not do the trick.

A downside of this jutsu -and again, most Akimichi jutsus- is the fact that you become a larger tartget for your opponent. The fact that you are just that little bit closer to your opponent could prove to be dangerous.

Question: Could I use an elemental jutsu at the same time? As in I perform this jutsu and then create a chidori, which would result in a huge fist and a huge chidori going towards an opponent?

( Honebuto no Megaton Jutsu ) - Big-Boned Megaton Technique
Type: Offensive/Supplementary

Description: After performing the Super Expansion Technique, the user punches the ground twice before punching the ground on both their sides. It can also be used to strike downed opponents. A small tremor capable of throwing the opponent off balance if within short range is also created.
Note: Can only be used by a member of the Akimichi Clan
This technique requires you to have used the Super Expansion Technique, the technique which enlarges your whole body. It is a very basic concept, which imo doesn't really need a jutsu. Once you are a giant, you punch the ground in order to create an earthquake. You can of course punch your opponent with this technique. This technique could easily be done in freestyle because you simply punch either the ground or your opponent. I guess you use this jutsu for the damage points if you want to officially register how much damage you dealt to an opponent.
An obvious advantage of this jutsu is the fact that it creates a tremor which can throw you opponent of balance. This is immediately cancelled out by a downside, you need to punch the ground short range from your opponent in order for the tremor to be effective. That is why I believe it is more useful to just stomp the ground with your foot once you're a giant and use the jutsu slot to perform another technique.

( Honebuto no Ikiwataru Jutsu ) - Big-Boned Go Around Technique
Type: Offensive, Defence
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15

Description: After performing Super Expansion Technique, the user begins to spin with their arms out, punching the enemy repeatedly.

Once again, a jutsu which requires you to enlarge your whole body before using it. After expanding your body, you start spinning with your arms stretched.
The jutsu on itself is very basic. Would it be possible to perform an elemental jutsu like Chidori or one that coats your arms with wind chakra? This would turn this simple technique into an elemental whirlwind of lightning or wind chakra.
I think the downside of this jutsu is very obvious as with most ones. You are a larger target for your opponent, so you'll always have to take that into account.

At your fist question, yes you can. Are just using chakra to increase the size of your body through secret arts, you're not using another chakra nature and once it's large it's still just your arm, so you can cover it in any element you like for example with a chidori. But when you strike with chidori it will still only be A rank it wont gain the +15 damage as i don't believe it would be considered taijutsu. But you'd just have a large chidori hand which would be greate on summons. This goes for your second question two, while expanded you can use Elemental ninjutsu like that. ZandaT has been an akimichi for years and in our fight, he turned his body to B rank earth (kakazu's jutsu: earth spear i beleive) and then struck with more force that way while not leaving himself vulnerable in his larger size.

Description: After channeling chakra into their hands, the user's muscles are enhanced with concentrated chakra, and the thickness is also increased. The users hands become tougher and with use of their body weight behind the attack the user then thrusts their palms into the opponent sending them flying. This technique is strong enough to break through D rank and lower water and earth style techniques. This technique is a smaller version of the (Chōharite Super Open Hand Slap) that is used whilst performing the multi-size technique
Note: Can only be used by members of the Akimichi Clan.

Then we will be done with C ranks and onwards and upwards. From what i've seen you understand the clan extremely well and have your own ideas for the fighting style like your example of expanding your legs for a jump to avoid something, that's great. So this shouldn't take too long :)

I believe this would be very useful in this scenario, since you jump up and land on you opponent, the lower side of your body (mainly your legs and feet) would be very exposed and a great target for your opponent. The Earth Spear reduces the amount of options your opponent has to attack you and you can take that into account and base your counter on it.
Overall this technique isn't really one you should use randomly, I believe it fits certain situations better than others because it leaves you fairly vulnerable. For example; if your opponent has used a technique that launches you upwards, you could use that to your advantage since you wouldn't even have to jump up anymore. Or your opponent could have used a technique that blocks your vision of one another, meaning that if you jump up he'd only realize what you are doing once you are above him.

Again, a very straight forward technique. You perform the Human Bullet Tank and roll towards your opponent. After hitting him, you jump up and bounce on your victim.
To be honest I don't have much to say about this technique, other than the fact that once again it's pretty situational. You could use this and Chidori Nagashi at the same time to roll through an earth wall or earth jutsu that your opponent used.
As with other Akimichi techniques, I believe that they are used to their fullest by combining them with elemental techniques. Jutsus that might not seem that good on their own, like this one, are the perfect example of that.

( Harite ) - Open Hand Slap
Unlike the previous technique, this one is a very nice one on its own. The idea behind it is really cool and useful, I just think it's a shame that this one can only stop D-ranked water and earth techniques and the bigger version can only stop C-ranked water and earth techniques. Of course you could combine it with the Earth Spear technique to block stronger water jutsus, but that's wasting two jutsu slots to achieve one goal. I believe this jutsu would have been perfect if it were able to block C-ranked water and earth techniques, as the rank of this jutsu is also C-ranked and the same goes for the bigger version.
This jutsu doesn't require you to expand your body size, which is also pretty neat. It makes this technique more versatile as you aren't hindered by your huge body whilst performing it.

( Honebuto no Daibingu Jutsu ) - Big-Boned Dive Technique - In the rp, i've found the vaguer the technique the better. The fact that it doesn't state you have to belly flop, means it's open to interpritation. So yeah you could simply jump and land on your feet on them. Could be epic and do the worlds biggest elbow drop on someone haha. If you use earth spear lightning will still make you weak but the thing is, if they shock you, you're still gonna fall all the same. Another thing you could do is use the added weight technique, i mean your size is one thing but if you add a larger mass you're pretty much a long range super fast crushing power.

( Nikudan Sensha Suramu ) - Human Bullet Tank Slam - This technique is not very, adaptable should i say? It just doesn't leave it open for you to work with too much, but i'm sure a skilled guy like you could find a unique use.

( Harite ) - Open Hand Slap - the expansion with this is actually cool, you could super size ***** slap someone away from you, what more could you want? xd

Description: This is a secret technique passed down in the Akimichi clan that increases the user's body size by converting their calories into chakra. The user can freely alter their size at will when using this technique and can use it for an extensive period of time. A common application of the techniques gives the user a very round appearance by mostly increasing the size of the abdominal section, which was done in order to use the Human Bullet Tank technique. Other, more common applications increase the size of the entire body, turning the user into a giant. This jutsu lasts for 4 turns.
Note: Only Akimichi Clan members can use this jutsu.

( Mizudan Suisha ) – Ballistic Waterwheel
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage point:
Description: After drinking in a lot of water, the Akimichi will use that water to expand their size like their Human Boulder and roll at the opponent. The water swallowed gives extra weight which does more damage. The user can use this to breathe in up to B rank Water jutsu, once every 3 turns.

( Dai Harite ) – Large Open Hand Slap
Type: Offensive

Description: After using the Multi-Size Technique to increase their size, the user channels chakra into their hands, which causes special markings to appear in them. ( Honebuto no Daibingu Jutsu ) - Big-Boned Dive Technique - In the rp, i've found the vaguer the technique the better. The fact that it doesn't state you have to belly flop, means it's open to interpritation. So yeah you could simply jump and land on your feet on them. Could be epic and do the worlds biggest elbow drop on someone haha. If you use earth spear lightning will still make you weak but the thing is, if they shock you, you're still gonna fall all the same. Another thing you could do is use the added weight technique, i mean your size is one thing but if you add a larger mass you're pretty much a long range super fast crushing power.

( Nikudan Sensha Suramu ) - Human Bullet Tank Slam - This technique is not very, adaptable should i say? It just doesn't leave it open for you to work with too much, but i'm sure a skilled guy like you could find a unique use.

( Harite ) - Open Hand Slap - the expansion with this is actually cool, you could super size ***** slap someone away from you, what more could you want? xd

This jutsu is the very core of the whole Akimichi arsenal. It allows you to increase the size of your whole body, massively increasing your strength. As the description says, it is needed to perform this technique (to shape your body into a ball form) in order to use the human bullet tank jutsus. I guess you could use this aspect at one point or another, I can't really think of a certain scenario though.
A nice and simple positive is the fact that your taijutsu techniques gain a 25 damage point boost.
I am repeating myself once again with this, but hey. Why not? :p A downside to this technique is that you become a larger target for your opponent to hit. That really is the case with this jutsu specifically, since it is the technique that enables you to grow the most.

( Mizudan Suisha ) – Ballistic Waterwheel
This is another technique I really like. It allows you to swallow up to B ranked water techniques which increases your weight, thus increasing the damage of your human bullet tank jutsu.
I think this jutsu would be really nice if it would be able to work like I hope it does; using this jutsu to just absorb a water technique and instead of performing the human bullet tank, you cancel it midway and spit the water back out by using your own chakra to create a technique out of it. Maybe a lower ranked technique than the one your opponent used if necessary, but still. That would be very useful.

( Dai Harite ) – Large Open Hand Slap
I believe I can refer to the lower ranked version of this technique we covered. Of course this jutsu is higher ranked so you deal more damege, use more chakra and can crush higher ranked techniques.

( Nibaite Su-pa Gachan ) – Double Hand Super Slam
This jutsu is fairly situational, it requires a certain landscape or jutsus to have been used previously. I assume the "boulder" in the description is to be interpreted freely and you can also use pillars, trees, walls of a certain size, etc...
Would it be possible to describe a move with this jutsu as following (simple rp for the sake of the question U_U):
"I expand my right hand and use my giant fist to punch you back. As soon as I send you flying I create a pillar/wall of earth short range behind you, which you crash into. Once you have hit the pillar/wall, I immediately expand my left hand and grab you and the wall to then slam it into the ground, crushing you underneath it."
So I basically would use two jutsus during the same time, although I don't use two chakra natures simultaneously.

@your question, no. You don't create the boulder, it's already there, you hit the opponent into the boulder. But if you use another jutsu to create the bolder, then yes you can, just seems like a waste to me. xd

Would it be possible to use the partial expansion multiple times in quick succession? The aim would be to launch several punches, one after another outside the short range of your opponent. Like . If not, is it something that could be achieved with a custom jutsu, maybe even one that requires you to have activated Calorie Control. Or is it something that is not possible at all?

Alright. Because of the high amount of calories you'd burn to create the chakra in order to expand your arms multiple times in a quick succession, that seems like a fair drawback. You'd have to recover from the loss of calories.

I did come up with another question, I should have waited with the previous post >.>

( Mizudan Suisha ) – Ballistic Waterwheel: The technique that lets you absorb up to B-ranked water techniques. Does it allow you to absorb every single water technique up to that rank, because techniques like the Water Dragon are a huge amount of water and others like the Rising Water Slicer are mentioned to be extremely sharp, cutting through the ground?
I mean, the technique could be described as following when used: "I channel my chakra into your B-ranked or below water technique to drive out your chakra. The jutsu becomes pure water with no real power or shape (losing its cutting abilities) behind it that allows me to drink it."

Would that suffice?
