Naruto, bee, guy, kakashi, Obito, sasuke. He wasn't all that, he would've put up less of a fight if he wasn't in the cave. That was his main advantage. That and itachi and Sasuke needing him alive.

Obito didn't exactly seem eager to fight Kabuto, and I doubt the Madara blackmail would be enough alone. Kabuto demonstrated his power to Obito, as well as his knowledge which led Obito form an alliance with him. I severely doubt that Kabuto managed to find out about Madara and not anything about Obito's abilities. Not to mention that Sound Genjutsu works on both Sharingan and Obito, which is something Kabuto is capable of doing.

As for Sasuke, well that is debatable. EMS Sasuke wasn't all that immense in power and neither was Naruto at the time. Strong, sure. Though Kabuto isn't one to pick a fight he knows he will lose. Hence why when he fought the Uchiha Siblings he did so on his own terms and not Itachi's. Which you just stated gave him the advantage. Whenever he realizes he will lose, he runs or change the playing field because he isn't stupid.

That is also a way of fighting and one that has been proven to be able to beat someone like Obito, Sasuke, Naruto, Kakashi and Gai. I am not saying he would specifically win, especially not against 8-Gates Gai. However, if Gai did that then the fight would end in a draw as both would die.

No he didn't demonstrate his power he showed him edo tensei,which was useful to him. Plus he had madara as an edo that's why he back down. That's what the manga showed and nothing of him having knowledge on obito's powers was mentioned, otherwise he would have said something. Kabuto is the type to boast about himself,crying for attention.

That's the thing they were holding back because they couldn't kill him. The fight would have been different otherwise. Naruto was a perfect jinchuuriki at that moment in time. He could have nuked the cave and kabuto would have lost the advantage. Plus he also has sage mode.

He wouldn't use 8 gates against someone like kabuto he ain't on Juubi jinchuuriki Madara's level.
