Description: The user charges Ototon chakra into their feet as they run, releasing it as each foot hits the earth and makes sound. As each steps sound off, low frequency waves are released, each wave causing an immense vibration to propagate through the ground and into any enemy, making their bodies lose balance as the waves collide with the target repeatedly. As the waves continue to hit the target, the vibrations increase and cause internal pain, almost as if each wave is drilling into the target's body, causing the target to also become nauseous from the continuous waves. Despite its danger, the technique can easily be defended by simply severing ones contact with the ground.



Charge your Sound chakra into your feet as you run towards the opponent, releasing it as you run. This releases low frequency waves which propagate into the opponent's body as you run, causing deep vibrations to run through them. This causes internal pain and nausea to the opponent, however, it can easily be countered by cancelling their contact with the ground. A nice way to force the opponent into the air.

Description: Focusing sound chakra into ones limbs, the user is able to deliver massive taijutsu attacks that can shatter anything on contact, specially solid defenses. When used directly against an enemy, the blows damage the soft tissues of the target if used with a low frequency sound or the targets bones, if used with a high frequency sound. The vibrations don't produce any external effect, unlike what happens with (Ototon: Oto no Ken) - Sound Release: Sonic Fist technique, instead propagating into whatever is touched through direct contact. The user is free in which moves he will perform and can use virtually any stance he knows. However, because it produces no externalization of the vibrations, as the limbs are only infused with sound chakra and the vibrations happen in what is hit, the user cannot attack or defend from things that would otherwise hurt him like bladed weapons, etc.



Focus your Sound chakra into your limbs and as such, you will able to deliver a Tai attack to the opponent and cause quite some damage, especially against solid defenses. With low frequency sound, it targets the soft tissues and with high frequency it targets bones. The vibrations in your limbs shows now outside signs, so :pkun:
This one is actually one of my favorite sound techniques and quite underrated. Basically focusing your sound chakra into your feet, amplifying the sound of your running as your foot makes contact with the earth. This sound is channeled through the ground and hinders the opponent quite well when it reaches them, causing them damage if they don't stop the jutsu or end their contact with the ground. It also has great range reaching all the way up to long.

This next technique is really cool and reminds me of a spell that was used in Magi. Focusing your sound chakra into your limbs, infusing it throughout this allows strikes that connect to their target to be much more deadly. It can produce varied damage depending on your intentions and the type of sound you use, low frequency being more damaging and even able to target your opponents bones. While low frequency is much more subtle and does not give an outward indication of its presence. Its especially useful since it can be combined with almost any taijutsu style meaning it is quite a versatile technique.

The ringing continues to grow as time progresses, originally disrupting how a person hears hampering their ability to think clearly. From that point, it starts to mess with their balance until they become incredibly disorientated, and unable to mold chakra properly due to this.
Note: Lasts 8 turns and reduces damage of the jutsu used against the user by -5 until this effect wears off while increasing the chakra cost of every technique the enemy uses by +10



A simple technique where you will gather your Sound chakra in your throat, and create a high frequency wave as you emit a sound. This targets the opponent's ear, and causes a part of the sound to remain in their ear, and manifest as a building ringing sound. This grows and disrupts the opponent's ability to hear clearly, their balance and even later, to mold chakra. Extremely useful.

As the hands slam together, it releases a high pitched, high frequency sound wave, resonating in the enemies ear, and causing muscle paralysis upon hearing it. As the loud sound happens, it creates an echoing amongst the field, trapping any who hear it under paralysis, causing slight pain to them, causing their ear drums to bleed. Paralysis lasts one turn but the user cannot use any other sound techniques for 2 turns after using it.



Now, a technique where you will focus your Sound based chakra into your hands, and slam them together. This releases a high pitched frequency, which causes muscle paralysis as the opponent hears it. It lasts one turn, but hinders you from using Sound for two turns.

This first one is really cool and almost a more advanced version of the Whisper to the canines technique. Basically focusing sound chakra into your throat as you make a noise and this causes a ringing sound in the opponents ear, the sound continuing to grow and have even more debilitating effects. Not only does this reduce the damage of jutsu used against the caster but it also increases the chakra cost for the techniques they use, quite the good supplementary technique. I like the idea of using this while you RP with someone, speaking to subtly initiate this jutsu and begin the battle.

I do have a question though, once this is used how would one counter or end it if under its effects? It doesn't seem like the kind of technique that a full body surge could remove.


The next technique is a cool paralysis type technique, causing actual muscle paralysis for targets that hear the sound. A important distinction to make is that this in not a genjutsu but actually a ninjutsu, so i assume a full body surge would work in this case as you can simply overpower the technique, unless I'm mistaken. Its rather simple, just focusing your sound chakra into your hands and clap which causes the sound to echo across the battlefield. one must be careful when using it though as allies and summons would not be immune to its effects, any who hear the sound will be immobilized.

Description: The most powerful sound illusion to be created, A Century of Torture at the Hands of a Banshee is a deviant technique, capable of rendering even the most powerful of enemies riddled with fear. The user will focus his sound chakra into a sound he will produce and which will carry the illusion and trigger it on any enemy that hears it. The illusion triggered is simple but surprisingly effective in all its simplicity: pain. Anyone who hears the sound will feel unimaginable amounts of pain all over their body to such an extent that they may even vomit and lose control of their chakra flow. Upon facing such pain, the enemy will lose control over his body and spasm as they curl to try and alleviate the pain. The longer the target is caught in the illusion the more severe the effect is. The illusion however is just that: an illusion. The pain isn't real or associated with any bodily aspect or damage. The user must, however, sustain the inducing sound and focus into his chakra flow (not being able to mold chakra at the same time) to sustain the effects of the illusion as when the sound ends, the enemy stops feeling the pain and recovers virtually immediately. Sounds that can trigger the illusion and carry it can vary from a whistle (very effective as it can be sustained for a lengthy time and be controlled), scream (less lengthy but easier to perform), music (if the user has a musical instrument), etc. If the sound is momentary, however, it will not induce an effective effect.

The resulting effect is a massive shockwave of low frequency, high amplitude destructive sound that levels anything in its path. The biggest different is that the user can control the area of affect of the technique, depending on the range he targets and the angle of the sound waves his sound waves take. 180º to 90º, the technique is Short Ranged. 90º to 45º, the technique is Mid-Range and from 5º to 45º the technique is Long Ranged. If used within a water source it receives +20 damage.
Note: Usable once every 3 turns



The last of these variations, where you will gather a large amount of Sound chakra in your throat and inhale. You will then exhale as you scream, roar or yell. This allows you to release a massive shock wave of low frequency, high amplitude forwards. In Short range, it affects up to 180 to 90 degrees, for Mid range it affects 90 to 45 degrees and for Long Range, its affects 45 to 5 degrees.

So this is an interesting genjutsu that is initiated and sustained through a sound that the user produces, the length of the sound is also the length that the genjutsu will remain active. It reaches up to long range which is great for a genjutsu and it causes the opponent a great deal of pain which has worsening implications the longer the sound and pain is maintained. The illusion can be initiated through any sound that the user can produce such as a scream or whistle, though i would argue that rthymic tapping or clapping would not work since that would be multiple sounds one after the other rather than a single sound wave or held note, which makes them unable to hold the sound chakra so the illusion would be momentary.

The pain caused can be so intense that the target may even lose control of themselves, curling up in a ball through primal instinct and preventing them from molding chakra which is quite powerful. Though this effect would only occur after at least one full turn of continued expose to this technique as the pain must grow to that point. Interestingly though this technique causes great pain it does not cause any mental damage so the target would recover almost immediately after the sound ends.


As for the second jutsu its pretty much a more powerful copy of the echo assault jutsus that we have already gone over. Inputting sound chakra into a yell to create destructive, high amplitude sound waves to carve a path of destruction. The main difference with this one is that the angle it is released at is further controlled depending on how far away the target is, with the angle getting smaller and more focused the further away they are.

This is released as a wave of low frequency sound through the ground and air, all around you up to Mid range. This creates like a Sound explosion, which causes the ground to crack open and cause the air to vibrate, stopping whatever is coming towards (according to S/W) and what is traveling through the ground.

Not only does the chakra engulf the chosen limb in an aura of vibrations and destructive low frequency sound waves but also, upon making contact with the target, channels the sound into the target, causing vibrations to ripple through the target. What happens is a massive shockwave that blasts outwards on contact, causing massive destruction all around up to the limits of Short-range, producing a small crater (if it hit an opponent, he is sent backwards into long range). This effect is amplified by the sound vibrations infiltrated into the target which ripple through it and cause destruction from within it. The damage is higher on softer tissue which is severely bruised. The technique is highly effective again liquids and highly dense solids.



A combination of Sonic Fist and Divinity, this technique creates the ultimate Sound and Tai combination. You will gather a large amount of Sound into your limbs and deliver a single blow, causing sound to ripple through the opponent and blast them away as well, causing both damage within and outside. Pretty deadly.

A combination of Sonic Fist and Divinity, this technique creates the ultimate Sound and Tai combination. You will gather a large amount of Sound into your limbs and deliver a single blow, causing sound to ripple through the opponent and blast them away as well, causing both damage within and outside. This one is a cool technique that pushes destructive sound waves to their limit. The user stomps and focuses their sound chakra into the waves produced, amplifying them a hundred times over. This releases n omni-directional blast of sound that can affect targets both in the air and in the ground simultaneously, it is an excellent counter technique as it can both defend you and attack the opponent at the same time. I'm a little surprised that it does not reach up to long range but it is still very useful.

This jutsu is an excellent close quarters option as it can deal a devastating blow to the opponent that affects them both internally and externally. Focusing high level sound waves around their chosen limb and striking the opponent will cause them to come into contact with the extreme vibrations that are produced, and proceeding to ripple them through their body. The impact with the vibrations also sends the target flying all the way into long range which is excellent if you want to create some distance. From the description of the technique a successful strike with this jutsu also produces a shockwave that encompasses up to short range, so would this shockwave also be able to protect the user from an attack simultaneously?
