Now on this base there are many members (most if not all of them sasuke fanboys) who claim sasuke can do a "coreless" Chibaku Tensei or make other Ninja's into the core for the jutsu. In the manga or anime there's no such thing. Hagoromo, Nagato, Madara and Sasuke are the only ones who have used this technique.
Nagato's Version
Nagato releases a black sphere from his hands which acts as a centre of gravity, drawing in everything in its surroundings to create an enormous satellite. Though he noted that his usage was inferior to that of the Sage of Six Paths.
Madara's Version
Madara demonstrated the ability to create multiple satellites even bigger than Nagato's using this technique by simultaneously releasing several black spheres and then subsequently drop the satellites on targets below.
Sasuke's Version
Sasuke later demonstrated the ability to perform Chibaku Tensei by clapping his hands, after first immobilising the tailed beasts, and then using them as substitutes for gravity cores and subduing them simultaneously.
There's always a core for the technique whether it's gravity core (made out of chakra) or a bijuu (which coincidentally is also made out of chakra). Plus for those of you who'd say it happened to Kaguya, that was a different version of the same technique called Rikudō — Chibaku Tensei or Six Paths — Chibaku Tensei .
Naruto and Sasuke
The Six Paths — Chibaku Tensei is a powerful fūinjutsu which can only be used by those who have awakened the Six Paths Senjutsu. It combines the Six Paths Yin and Yang powers.
This technique is activated when users of the Six Paths Yin and Yang Powers simultaneously place their palms upon the target's body. The target is then made into a centre of gravity, causing the surrounding earth to be forcefully pulled onto their body and formed into a sealing stone far larger than what is created by the standard Chibaku Tensei. The technique can also seal away the target's Rinne Sharingan, as images of the Six Paths Yin and Yang seals appear within their eye and overlap, as well as forcibly extract their chakra from their body. The only known method of breaking this seal is for a wielder of the Rinnegan to summon the core out of the resulting satellite.
@Bold^: Placing the Yin and Yang seal on an individual (in this case Kaguya) turns the person into the centre of gravity for the technique. This can only be done with the Ying-Yang seals, which the sage gave to Naruto and Sasuke.
There's always a core for the technique and a person (Ninja/summons/or other things) can't be used as an alternative for the core without the Ying-Yang seals which are not available ( 1 time use from the sage).
