Night Guy is a taijutsu technique this used as a last resort because once you use it you most certainly die. there are multiple reasons for this. the first reason is that it requires the user to open the gate of death, which is the Eighth and final gate, located at the heart. to perform the technique, the user charges his chakra while taking a stance. as he charges the chakra he emits a red chakra from his body with takes the shape of a dragon. from there the user dashes at the opponent at x8 the user's base speed, which also a speed that causes the user to bypass the opponent's defenses because the distortion in space he causes from his own sheer speed. The user then deals a powerful kick that can completely obliterate the target and can create a shockwave linear from the kick which could destroy the opponent from a distance, also making it a powerful ranged attack. unfortunately the pressure from the attack is so immense that is completely shatters the users legs in the process and afterwards the users body disentigrate into dust because of the intense chakra emitting from his body, kinda of similar to what happened to Naruto's hand when he used the Wind style: rasenshuriken against Kakuzu and his hand was damaged but on a grandeur scale.

In short; not really a technique to use if you want to live to see the next round. Nice for self-destruction, but that will rarely be relevant. It is very flashy, but ultimately not very useful. A lot of these high-leveled EIG techniques follow a similar pattern.
Take a look at this final 8th-Gate-requiring technique. Tell me what you think:

( Sekizō ) - Evening Elephant
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: This technique is a continuous assault of five punches, with each "foot", as they are referred to, being performed faster than the one before. It creates a vacuum of pressurised air which bears the appearance of an elephant's leg, causing devastating damage to the opponent. The first punch alone was capable of creating a 10 meter deep tunnel in the ground. The subsequent punches are delivered as the user moves at high speeds around the opponent, attacking from all angles, culminating with the final punch, strong enough to break through the Truth Seeking Balls shield. The first hit alone deals 80 damage, each after deals 20 damage more than the last one.
Note: Can only be used with the 8th Gate open.

the evening elephant technique is a technique uses both your speed and strength of the activation of the gate of death. the strength in the punch to create a vacuum of pressurized air to take the shape of the elephant's foot and the speed to the circle around the opponent while creating multiple vacuums of pressurized increasing in strength. This technique doesnt break any bones but thanks to the opening of the eight gate this takes up the one of the two turns that you have after opening the eighth gate and die. So if you want to live to see the victory. this would be the second to the last result.

With EIG there are a ton of restrictions involved, the greatest being the one disallowing the use of high-ranked Nin (for EIG Masters). However, there also exists as a supplement to the Gates, a couple of, you guessed it, supplementary techniques. Before we wrap up I would like to hear your thoughts about the two, specifically:
(Chiratsuki Kaihi) Flicker Evasion
Type: Defensive
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description:
A skill usable by all EIG users and masters, once one has opened at least one of the EIG, he will move at high speeds to dodge, attack or defend from techniques. The ability pertains to movement in the battle field, meaning running, walking, jumping, dashing, etc and its speed depends on the Gate currently opened.
Note: This version can only be used by EIG masters with at least one gate opened

( Sukaiu~ōku ) - Sky Walk
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: A skill usable by all EIG users and masters, once one has opened at least six of the EIG, he will gain the ability to walk on air to dodge, attack or defend from techniques. The ability pertains to movement in the air, meaning walking, jumping, dashing off the air itself etc and its speed depends on the Gate currently opened.
Note: Must have at least one gate opened.

when it comes to Flicker Evasion. I see it as something that can be compared to Substitution jutsu, but this is only when your current speed has the advantage over your opponent. using the granted speed from the EIGs you can either run, walk, jump, or dash out of the way of whatever technique that your opponent. But the requirement is that you have to be an EIG master and you have to have gates open. It's a technique that can get you out of any pickle depending on the circumstance.

When it comes to this technique it is basically the same thing but it pertains to a character that is mid air rather than being on the ground. the restrictions pertains to EIG users and masters but they have to have at least the sixth gate open. the reason being is because the character is able to exert the same amount of force equal to the weight of the user themselves, causing the air under their feet to compress, creating pressure that the character can push off of which is something that they are not able to do with just the prior gates opened.

With these two techniques this would make the character very hard to hit either on the ground or in the air.

It all seems to come down to speed, doesn't it? Very quaint for a Mode that is, well, basically just a speed and power multiplier.
The fact is that the Eight Gates are really simple stuff. There is very little danger of rule-breaking abuse with these puppies; users are simply too experienced to screw up like that.

And that brings us to the fact that there is very little left for me to teach you. In a few short months you'll be an EIGM, with double-openings and Gate-boosted Ninjutsu available to you, but before we start the clock on that; do you have any questions?

before I become an EIGM i know that opening each gate cost a move that means at most which means i can open up to 3 gates each turn at an expense of a move. Is that correct.

also When an EIGM i know that the user can use up to b-rank ninjutsu, so that means up until that point i am not able to use ninjutsu at all just strictly taijutsu?

Yes it is. Before you become an EIGM the Gates are more... clunky.

No Ninjutsu until you become an EIGM either. You can use elemental Tai, like Kaito's, of course, but no Nin.
