That would be a huge nerf on Boruto's part. His talent would get overshadowed by the Kyuubi's - Especially since Naruto pretty much did everything and anything related to 'Bijuu' power already, there would be no originality.

Plus, Momoshiki stated that ninja cannot pass down their power like Otsutsuki do, which results in death. Unless your implying that the writer Ukyo, is an idiot, then you're sorrowofully mistaken. Naruto isn't going to 'die' just so that he can pass his power down to the next generation. What kind of idiocy would be that be? Even from a literacy standpoint when the author/writer are trying to show you why it's wrong in the first place through Momoshiki.

In the end Boruto will defeat Momoshiki (along with Sasuke) with a technique that was passed down through generations, without the need of sacrificing a family member or comrade.

Indra and AShura never got their power from Hagoromo, nor anyone else for that matter, through the act of needing to killing one's self in order for that power to pass down. That's only seen through Momoshiki/Kinshiki + Their ancestors bar Hagoromo, Hamura, and Kaguya. Kaguya didn't have to kill herself to give her sons power too.
