And that's not the point. The point is your argument doesn't make sense because "Yellow Flash" has always referred to a Minato w/ Hiraishin, not Minato w/o it. The Manga states that Raikage=Minato in reflexes thus C is surprised Taka is keeping up, then he says "but Raikage has boosted his reflexes with Raiton". Meaning V1 Ay>Base Ay=Minato. Don't ignore the argument and continue to repeat something that was already addressed.

Also...the anime? The GAMES? Are you serious? :lol. The Manga>The anime>>>>>The games.

That's one translation. Which is basically mistranslated since Japanese has like 3-4 variants of the English word "but".

In this translation, Shikashi (but) is used to contrast previous statements right before it. Not contradict it like English. I'd say an accurate translation of Shikashi should be "therefore" and not "but"...

Like I said, what "but" means in Japanese is irrelevant because "but" is what is present in the English Translation. For all you know the words or phrases that mean the same thing as "but" in English were present in the original translation, which is why the English says "but".

Japanese is weird. Its not based on English or early Latin or whatever. There's ton of words in Japanese that loses its meaning when translated into English. Translating Japanese into English (or any Eastern language) results in some wording contexts being "lost in translation".

And here's the weird thing using "shikashi". Depending on where its used and placed in the sentence it can either mean to contrast a statement or make a argument against it. This is often coupled with an appropriate tone.

Yet mentioning this doesn't help you as you have no idea how this was translated.

And what about this statement? He's basically saying if Minato was still around he wouldn't be considered the fastest.

Of course he wouldn't because Minato w/ FTG was explicitly shown to be faster.

Is there any proof that Ay had fast reflexes like Minato without Chakra Mode? Because the battle with Madara clearly says otherwise...

During Ay's Lightning Straight Minato reacted fast enough to initiate a counter strike by throwing his kunai behind him, teleport to a tree and teleport right back to strike him in the back.

Even Obito could react to Ay's attack in time to use Kamui.

Obito couldn't keep up with Minato, and we all know how that turned out.

Dude.

It was stated by C that Ei in V1 had unrivaled reflexes at that point in time. Stop arguing against the manga Megatolium.

Minato is still faster, let Ei be superior in one category sheesh.

How's anyone not reading this properly?

Ay's Chakra Mode is only as fast as V1 Kyuubi Chakra Mode and Minato himself.

Lmao. This debate is pretty much over. Read what has been posted over and over again in this thread until it clicks cause you obviously don't get it.

He never threw the Kunai in the manga. He dropped it right there and teleported to the one already stabbed into the tree.

Then how did he teleport behind Ay?

He threw it behind him before he could completely react to it.

Seriously? Didn't I just refute it?

Except Minato couldn't out-maneuver Obito without Hiraishin.

Still acted faster than Obito could use Kamui. Which Ay couldn't pull off.

And as for posting that Databook scan again, Yellow Flash is the nickname of Minato. The databook didn't state Ay's speed was as fast as Hirashin. Which is ridiculous since you can't be faster than instantaneous Space-Time Jutsu.

Because there was a Kunai there?

The top left one is where he teleported to - he didn't throw anything anywhere:

If he was that fast then he wouldn't have been beaten by Teenage Bee twice.

Still acted faster than Obito could use Kamui. Which Ay couldn't pull off.

He succeeded, because 1) Obito was 14 and 2) he doesn't have eyes behind his head. Without seeing, Intangibility cannot be activated by the Mangekyou Sharingan.

I'd say its true that Ay in V2 Chakra Mode is maybe faster than Minato's reflexes. But no way in hell is Ay at base equal to Minato in reflexes. He couldn't even properly react to Minato in V1

I highly doubt this is V2 Ae.
