Him being overconfident:

Zabuza, tought he had Kakashi trapped like a bird on a cage. Because of this, he underrated kakashi, a lot, and made like his "revenge" on him. This was stated 2 times, for now i'll just post one.

Lol the funny thing is that you want to make it sound like if Kakashi was the one playing around.

Zabuza was so confident on having completely destroyed the sharingan, that he says LET ME ENJOY THIS MORE, instead of instantly attacking the injured Kakashi right there.

I'm not making it sound like Kakashi was the one playing around. Kakashi says as much himself in the scan I posted earlier, which is from the viz translation.

That "injured Kakashi" was only injured because he wanted to be, as I noted, once again, with the viz scan I posted earlier(though I think pretty much any translation you use will give you the same result: Kakashi got cut because he wanted his blood on Zabuza, not because Zabuza bested him).

Here, the most important, CONFIDENT ON THE FACT THAT KAKASHI WAS "NULLIFIED", he even blindspots Kakashi, and doesn't attack him, lmao, he even warns him, instead of slicing him. And yes, Kakashi didn't notice it. Zabuza could've attacked him right here.

What will you say now? Will you post the scans of Zabuza getting murked by Kakashi:

1- With no mist around
2- Zabuza being distracted by Haku's death

I have no reason to believe based on the fight that Kakashi was in any danger there, as again has been noted plenty of times, Kakashi allowed himself to be hit several times, meaning he knew he was in control while in the mist. Zabuza being behind him doesn't really do anything to suggest Kakashi was in any danger to me considering the other circumstances.

I dunno why you're showing me a mangareader translation when I've already posted the Viz that quite clearly shows this to be an incorrect translation.

So, we have:

-Zabuza stating he wanted to keep having fun

Yes, as did Kakashi.

-Kakashi stating that Zabuza was playing around

Again, yes, they both were.

-Zabuza blindspoting Kakashi, and not attacking him. Kakashi didn't react until Zabuza spoke

Again, given Kakashi's confidence in fighting in the mist I have no reason to believe he was in any danger.

-The reason of what was stated above is pretty clear. Zabuza had Kakashi trapped like a bird in a cage and was playing. Except that he didn't know Kakashi could counter him, which leads us to the second problem

Again this "playing around" argument being why Zabuza lost is a pointless one, considering Kakashi was as well.

With full knowledge from the beggining, three things would've been different

1- Zabuza would've stopped messing around since he knows that Kakashi can track him in the mist if he leaves a trace

I'm honestly tired of reading this point over and over again. And one thing to keep in mind is full knowledge for both means Kakashi's aware that Zabuza isn't going to "play around" and is aware of his dogs.

2- He wouldn't have left a trace of blood on himself

Well yes, he wouldn't have attacked Kakashi without it being a killshot. That being said, Kakashi's blood doesn't have to be on Zabuza. Him having Zabuza's blood would suffice as well. And KAkashi already showed he's more than capable of drawing Zabuza's blood when he wants to.

3- He would have dodged the dogs. He didn't dodge them because he had his eyes closed in the mist, and only opened them once the dogs broke the ground. With knowledge, he can react and dodge just with the sound

The dogs are irrelevant to me from an attacking standpoint. The only use they hold here is tracking Zabuza. I mean I suppose I could make some argument that Kakashi attacks at the same time they do and then he's ****ed, but that's not even necessary, as Kakashi can take Zabuza down himself. But again, that's a viable strategy.

It's more than clear, that Zabuza beats part 1 Kakashi. And Kakashi being superior? Tt's pretty clear that they are even in almost every stat, except that with full knowledge, Zabuza can blindspot Kakashi any time, as he did before, but this time, he wouldn't be messing around.

Even? Nah seemed pretty clear to me that Kakashi(when he had knowledge of Zabuza's capabilities) was having his way with him when Zabuza wasn't trying to hide in mist. I've went over this blindspot/messing around stuff more than enough.

I just read your other post. No, Kakashi says you can't beat me NOW implying is not on conditions of beating him, after Haku's death.

So we're going to go away from the obvious explanation of Kakashi saying Zabuza can't beat him because A. He's got Zabuza from behind and B. Already has one of Zabuza's arms disabled and C. knows that if Zabuza tries anything, he can disable the other(which he did). I dunno why you're trying to go so heavily in to this Haku stuff during their fight. Zabuza was quite clearly still bloodlusted and fine during his encounter with Kakashi. His emotion only began to show after Naruto's little speech to him.

No, Kakashi did not "start to take it serious" so started kicking Zabuza's ass. That makes no sense, when we know Zabuza and Kakashi are evenlt matched in physicall stats.

What is this scan supposed to show me other than Kakashi was fooled by Zabuza's bunshin use in their first encounter?(also worth noting that Kakashi was distracted by trying to protect team 7/Tazuna so was more hasty than he'd normally be, but it's a good bunshin feint by Zabuza none the less).

And yeah, that is what happened considering after Kakashi said he was ready to end it, he was whipping Zabuza's ass.

Start reading from there and tell me if you really think Kakashi could be totally stomping Zabuza just like that. Also, major factor, THERE WASN'T ANY MIST EITHER. So that confirms it.

Do you want me to start reading from there because you think I forgot what put Kakashi in that situation to begin with(a totally different scenario than the 1v1 full knowledge fight we're speaking of right now)? The mist isn't really relevant as once Kakashi has means of tracking Zabuza it's over.

The anime version is translated from ear, and the subtitles of that moment are that it refers to Zabuza's current state. It's no only implied by Kakashi, but it's only logic. Even if the viz scan onle says "now"... the only difference between that Zabuza and the Zabuza that was kicking Kakashi's ass in their first encounter was their mental situation.

I explained that it's clearly not the only difference.

No, the difference between the Zabuza that beat Kakashi in the first encounter are these things:

#1. Knowledge
and
#2. Kakashi trying to protect the others

I take nothing from the anime seriously. If you're going to try and use anime to debate anything with me, we might as well stop here.

To sum some things up here, the issues with your argument is it relies on two things: #1 this whole "Zabuza is playing around", which is irrelevant because Kakashi was as well, and #2 you going off of a fan translation leading you to believe Zabuza was somehow greatly effected by Haku's death during his final fight with Kakashi, when nothing prior to Naruto's speech to him implies he was even thinking of Haku. His focus was entirely on killing Tazuna(and in result of that, Kakashi/Team 7) up until Gato arrived to kill Zabuza, which then Zabuza's bloodlust for Kakashi/Tazuna ends and his focus turns to Gato.

I think Zabuza's reaction immediately after Haku dies is worth noting in debunking the "distracted by Haku's death" argument, as well.

You must be registered for see images

Even Naruto notes how cruel/crude Zabuza is being in regards to Haku:

You must be registered for see images

And of course after this is when Zabuza charges Kakashi and his beat down begins.

Relying on a single panel of a fan's translation doesn't allow your argument to hold much water.

And not being able to beat a full knowledge Kakashi isn't some kind of knock, very few characters(that are on or around the same skill level, obviously people like Hashirama who are just insanely better trump any plan Kakashi could come up with) in the manga can. Kakashi is the same character who developed the strategy that beat the god of the narutoverse, devised how plans on how to beat all 6 paths of Pain, figured out how to counter Itachi/his tsukuyomi, etc, etc. Kakashi might very well be the greatest tactician in the manga, very few can hold a candle to him.

No. That's Kakashi saying "you can't beat me NOW" because Zabuza obvious drop in condition. Unless your saying:

1-Kakashi was just fooling around all the previous fight, putting the lives of his students and tazuna in dager, rofl
2-Zabuza was all fine, ignoring the fact that he didn't even lift up some mist to attack

To make this easier for you.
Zabuza parrying Kakashi before mental breakdown and without mist:
You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images
Zabuza parrying Kakashi after mental breakdown and no mist
scans you posted

It's more than clear, than Kakashi's "NOW" means Zabuza's state, which shows a clear drop, and not the fact that Kakashi just there went serious (which is a ridiculouss claim, completely out of character, and not supported by manga and databook).

That "injured Kakashi" was only injured because he wanted to be, as I noted, once again, with the viz scan I posted earlier(though I think pretty much any translation you use will give you the same result: Kakashi got cut because he wanted his blood on Zabuza, not because Zabuza bested him).

I never even used this as an argument. Zabuza already bested Kakashi in their first encounter, and blindsided him in their second encounter, and didn't attack for already adressed reasons. So, Zabuza was not going all out. Had he been, he'd have blindsided Kakashi and attacked him with no reaction from the latter. A frontal attack? Yes Kakashi had enough reflexes to dodge it and put his blood on it, i never said otherwise.

I have no reason to believe based on the fight that Kakashi was in any danger there,
Then stop ignoring the manga itself, which shows Kakashi hadn't noticed Zabuza was behind him. And Zabuza didn't attack him because he tought Kakashi was trapped anyways, so he wanted to enjoy the fight a little more (adressed like 5 times already). Zabuza already blindsided Kakashi with no reaction from the later.

as again has been noted plenty of times, Kakashi allowed himself to be hit several times, meaning he knew he was in control while in the mist. Zabuza being behind him doesn't really do anything to suggest Kakashi was in any danger to me considering the other circumstances.

Adressed. Kakashi was in control of a fight where the opponent was messing around.

I dunno why you're showing me a mangareader translation when I've already posted the Viz that quite clearly shows this to be an incorrect translation.

It's not an incorrect translation. I already adressed what Kakashi means, and you're ignoring it. Your answer is weak. You're arguing that Kakasi meant "you can't beat me NOW" because he just got serious in that moment, which i already adressed in the first couple of sentences of this same post.

Yes, as did Kakashi.

No, and this is where your argument fails. The only scan you have for this has been explained already. Kakashi playing around? Lol. Even Kakashi says, finishing the fight is not "Zabuza's style". Anyways, also adressed in the first couple of sentences of this post..

Again, yes, they both were.

What a lame argument

Again, given Kakashi's confidence in fighting in the mist I have no reason to believe he was in any danger.

Again, read that page again, and (!!) from Kakashi, who didn't even know Zabuza was there. If you use the argument of Kakashi being in control on FRONTAL ATTACKS, which i never said he didn't, then read my post again, since this time kakashi has been BLIND SIDED, without reaction.

Again this "playing around" argument being why Zabuza lost is a pointless one, considering Kakashi was as well.

Summary of your argument, can be countered with just one scan.

I'm honestly tired of reading this point over and over again. And one thing to keep in mind is full knowledge for both means Kakashi's aware that Zabuza isn't going to "play around" and is aware of his dogs.

Whatever floats your boat. With full knowledge Zabuza doesn't lose because he wanted to keep playing around, with a trace of blood all over him.

Well yes, he wouldn't have attacked Kakashi without it being a killshot.
You're literally ignoring the fact that, yes, he did attack Kakashi without intel to kill, hence it was STATED by him AND BY KAKASHI that he was messing around (hell in that same scan Zabuza says it's his payback, and he is enjoying it)

That being said, Kakashi's blood doesn't have to be on Zabuza. Him having Zabuza's blood would suffice as well. And KAkashi already showed he's more than capable of drawing Zabuza's blood when he wants to.

Lol? If Zabuza has knowledge on the dogs he ****ing merks them once they come out.

Even? Nah seemed pretty clear to me that Kakashi(when he had knowledge of Zabuza's capabilities) was having his way with him when Zabuza wasn't trying to hide in mist. I've went over this blindspot/messing around stuff more than enough.

Yes, and your argument is so weak that i suggest you view it again.
They have almost the same databook stat. They both parried WITHOUT THE MIST before

So we're going to go away from the obvious explanation of Kakashi saying Zabuza can't beat him because A. He's got Zabuza from behind and B. Most of this was already adressed. And you ignoring the anime when it comes to a dialogue is just you trying to reach.

1- Your whole arguments revolves around the fact that Kakashi wasn't going all out from the beggining, which had already been adressed

2- Zabuza was showed, and stated, to be under his normal conditions to fight.

3- Excuse me to bring the "anime" but when it comes to dialogue, it is based of the viz. It's more than clear, than Zabuza was affected

4- Even if you were right, which you arent, Kakashi still only overpowered Zabuza without the mist. In the mist, he was already blindsided with no reaction, which puts all of this on irelevant levels. But stil you're wrong, Kakashi was going all out.

5- Not that it is needed, because how obvious this is, but here... Kakashi stating that this "feelings" were in Zabuza's surface of toughts. It was showed, but oh well, manga scan.
You must be registered for see images

And lol at me trying to support my whole argument under one scan, when even the viz scan supports my view, but you're reading it wrong. Plus my argument revolves a lot of other points, which you basically ignored by saying "yeah but Kakashi was just playing around" which has been adressed too many times

Kakashi strikes me as a serious individual, not someone who'd play around in a fight, unless it is a test for genins that is.

That unorthodox dislike must be because Sasuke was in that test.

Anyways, no serious jonnin of any realm would start playing around risking the lives of his students. If it was like Elite Kakashi said, as soon as Kakashi gets serious, >>>>>> Zabuza, and could've stomped him at any moment of the fight.
