I see a lot of users who place Sakura above Neji and I can't quite figure out why... maybe somebody with more knowledge on the topic can shed light on the subject, because I'm not understanding how Tsunade or Sakura stand a chance against any Hyuga bar Hinata. Sure in a sense of relative power she trumps him but in a one on one battle I don't see her prevailing.

I think Neji' wins. Simply because once he closes her chakra points its over. But, i have had arguments that said yin seal would repelnish and open her chakra points back up. SO ehh. Ive also argued that Neji would destroy the yin seal and the chakra stored in it but, alas people don't agree.

Anyways: Neji mid dif IMO.

but she isn't dumb enough to even consider this approach.

@robin. yeah, that seems like the logical approach for her to do. but it required her to jump with the momentum to do that same exact feat, so I don't see why neji couldn't just disrupt her mid-air with an air palm. imo

I have no idea how Neji would handle those massive attacks. He would obviously destroy her in CQC but her DC is probably too much for him.

however, sakura should had witness neji in chuunin exam atleast twice. so she isn't dumb enough to even consider this approach.

She only jumped to keep everyone out of the blast, you can see the SA right behind her who she would have been killed if she had done it there.

which is simply building up a huge amount of chakra and releasing it into a impact, the power comes from the chakra being built up and released. The explosion happens whether she is coming down from the air or simply hitting the ground.

I find it extremely hard to believe that rotation (

) is going to be breached by a physical attack like that. Rotations defense is powerful due to the rapid spinning of the chakra (not the chakra itself), making it especially effective against physical attacks.

As we know, Sakura's attack is a build up of chakra that is released instantly.

Neji's rapidly rotating chakra clashing with Sakura's explosion of chakra, will probably result in her getting repelled. This is all of course assuming that Sakura can hit Neji's chakra dome directly, which will be almost impossible. AOE damage killing him is not viable when he has a technique like rotation.

If she attempts her one punch feat and it fails... Neji will body her.

Gaara's sand body armor tanked 5G Lee's strongest physical attack, it's still something that holds weight lol. It doesn't really matter in what regard...being compared to Gaara at all in terms of defense is noteworthy.

If Neji is already rotating, then the object he is standing on will be covered by his chakra...which means it will not be destroyed.

As I was discussing with RR already, whatever base he is standing on is covered by his chakra, which means it won't be susceptible to AOE damage.

He doesn't need to use 64 palms. He only needs to shut down the chakra points in her arms and disable CES temporarily to win. Neji has far superior striking speed, and a better style of taijutsu. If she gets close she won't survive for very long.

If she releases the Yin Seal before he can stop her, I don't see Neji winning.

With manga knowledge she is more at a advantage than neji.

Neji has faster stricking speed? Did Sakura blitz that zetsu while sitting down using body flicker in conjunction with her strength.

But doesn't the fact that Kido (who heard about Jyuken from Orochimaru) opting to switch from the close range fight he was involved in with the SRA team to long range against Neji just to avoid his tenketsu getting closed despite having another source of chakra in the form of the cursed seal more or less prove only bijuu chakra has the feat of reopening points?
Hinata also only had the points in her hands closed because that was the only way she could inflict damage. She kept trying to use the gentle fist style which would have involved channeling chakra into her arms but her chakra points still didn't open. I'm not entirely sure regular chakra can reopen points unless the chakra in the seal isn't regular chakra?
