Its his Rinnegan's ability. Obito's Kamui has no such ability to cross dimensions. He could only do so after resonating with Kaguya's technique. After that, he required an enormous amount of chakra to do so. Without the first step, there is no cross dimensional travel.

Kamui is far superior. Sasuke s/t tech can only open inter-dimensional portals to kaguya dimensions. Saying it can open intra-dimension portals is just a made up claim with absolutely no proof to back it up. Just because it's color black,doesn't make it the same with yomotsu hirasaka. Kamui has been canonically shown to do both,plus it grants intangibility,self-warp+ the ability to warp things to it's dimesion. Sasuke tech is inferior to kamui and not more advanced

because those are the only dimensions sasuke has access to? And again obito has access to those as well.
