More like in theory it has the most destructive capability. You have to take into account everything, not just the ability to destroy. Such as mokuton having the ability to suppress tailed beast chakra etc. Jinton is pretty linear as well, existing only as 3D geometrical shapes. Mokuton is much more flexible.
Although Hashirama with jinton would be terrifying.
I don't if it's the best element though. It's cool and powerful, but takes time to form and is inflexible and vulnerable to chakra absorption, and it probably uses more chakra too.
Mokuton has flexibility on it's side too as it can be used as offence, defence or for supplementary jutsu.

Someone proficient with Mokuton will kill a jinton user easily. Jinton takes long to charge from what we've seen. Mokuton is versatile and you can create branches from your body, the ground, anywhere and attack
Nope, Amaterasu burns everything and does NOT stop burning. The only times Sasuke's jutsu failed was when most of his opponent were protected by plot shield which is why most trolls keep saying it's weak when it clearly isn't.
Best example ? Raikage and the samurai being saved by Gaara. Itachi already proved that something as thick as a toad wall can be burned in seconds.
