Mokuton is significantly more versatile than Jinton and encompasses a significantly larger area than Jinton does. Then Naruto got 5-6 Kekkai genkai in a day, and black orb in same day. If mokuton was not Hashiramas tech and it was a tech of a sand village fodder, it wpuld be useless. Nope, Amaterasu burns everything and does NOT stop burning. The only times Sasuke's jutsu failed was when most of his opponent were protected by plot shield which is why most trolls keep saying it's weak when it clearly isn't.

Best example ? Raikage and the samurai being saved by Gaara. Itachi already proved that something as thick as a toad wall can be burned in seconds.

He can't combine amaterasu with things, That requires enton.
